Even the brotherhood of the Deathshroud, the forty-nine handpicked warriors who served as Mortarion’s honour guard, were in awe of Typhon’s uncanny fortitude.
-

The glass trembled against the side of Akil’s head. The engine was still running, of course. They needed it to power the air system. He shifted his head slightly. Behind him the vox-unit was still breathing static into the cabin. It sounded reassuring, like rain pattering on the roof at night. Rashne was weeping, the sound of the boy’s sobs cut¬ting into and out of the internal vox. Akil listened but said nothing. They were lost. They were alone, and it was now just a matter of time until the engine ran out of fuel and the air stopped. He wondered if he would take off his suit and open the hatch before that point. At least that would be the end of everything, and an end he deserved. He thought of his daughters and whether they had survived. The glass trembled against his skull again. He raised his head and put his hand to the glass. A low bass vibration met his touch, its note out of sync with the rumble of the vehicle’s engine, the sound of heavy tracks shaking the ground. ‘I hear something,’ said Akil quietly. Rashne sobbed again. Akil keyed the internal vox and spoke more loudly. ‘Rash, I hear something.’ He looked around and saw that the boy had looked up at him, eyes wide behind misted glass. Akil nodded. ‘Can’t you hear it? They are out there, they are close.’ He paused. ‘Try the vox again.’ Rashne turned and began to flick switches. ‘Any call sign, respond if you can hear this. This is scout unit four, First Squadron, Amaranth Company, Seven Hundred and First.’ Akil shook his head, as if trying to shake the smile off. Relief and exhaustion flooded through him. We are not alone. He slumped forward, head resting on the armourglass he had been staring through for hours. His eyes flicked to the forward viewing slit. The fog had smothered them again, hiding the landscape behind yellow silt veils. He was about to turn to Rashne when he saw something move in the fog. ‘Rash,’ he said carefully, trying to keep his voice steady. ‘Are you getting anything coming through?’ ‘No,’ said Rashne. Akil could almost see the boy grinning and shrugging. ‘But they are close, right?’ Akil kept his eyes steady on the view beyond the smeared glass. He felt very cold. We are not alone. The thought rose in his mind, like a chilling echo of a misunderstood revelation. ‘That’s weird,’ said Rashne. Akil heard him flicking more switches. ‘There is something coming over the vox. Listen.’ Rashne raised the volume. After a second Akil heard what he meant: a low growl of noise rising and falling behind the wall of static. He listened more closely. The sound came and went, almost like the breaking of slow waves on a shore, or the beating of a heart. ‘Rash–’ he began to say, but then he saw it again. It surfaced from the fog, like a sea creature breaking the surface to breathe before diving out of sight. He had an impression of hard angles and dull, unpolished steel. It had been close as well, within a hundred metres. He could hear the frame of the vehicle vibrating now. ‘Rash, shut the vox down,’ he said, panic rising in his voice. ‘What?’ said Rashne. ‘Shut it down.’ ‘Why?’ Akil was not listening. He was thinking of when he had watched a sabre cat stalking prey in the equatorial forests, of the way it moved its head as it sniffed the air. He reached out slowly and flicked the engines off. ‘What are you doing?’ called Rashne. ‘Shut the v–’ They both heard it. ‘An engine,’ breathed Rashne. ‘It’s them, they’re here.’ The boy was reaching for the vox. The tank broke from the fog in front of Akil’s eyes. Its hull was a raked slab of dull metal topped with a domed turret. Slime scattered in its wake as it ground forwards. Threads of red light reached through the fog, scattering as they swept and converged. The turret rotated as he watched, fixing him with the blank gaze of its weapon barrel. He felt with numb certainty that his next breath would be the last.

Okay run through shiban went to the first lodge meeting was angry at their outright siding with Horus The stormcaller found a holo map on the WB ship that shows all the legions positions warp currents and heaps of detail. Deamon machine spits out a blood letter that kills the sallie The khan encounters aspirations of the psykernuin evil psyker predator fish of prospero falls down into the catacombs the white scars meet everyone's favourite thousand son soon to be blood raven and the khan encounters what I'm assuming is a shadow of Magnus in the bowels * * * During the lodge meeting, the leader states their window for action shrinks and the most important part in my mind is he then says with a benign smile "They are coming, brothers. They are coming here, to Prospero." * * * Well Magnus appeared in literally the last line of the last paragraph. And as for our TS he had one good line ”We came to find the truth,’ he said. Arvida laughed then, a sour, grating rattle. ‘Ah, the truth.” Excerpt From: Wraight, Chris. ”Scars: Episode IX.”

"АДСКИЕ СПОЙЛЕРЫ!!!"Unremembered Empire begins with Guilliman fretting over what course to take. Macragge is isolated by the Ruinstorm, and he doesn’t know if the Emperor is dead or not. Guilliman is then contacted by the loyalist Iron Warriors Warsmith Dantioch, who is on a planet called Sotha working on awakening a Xenos (Possibly Necron) artefact known as the Pharos, which can illuminate worlds and allow instantaneous communication across interstellar distances. He does so, and then Guilliman uses it to make their own astronomican which attracts ships to Macragge. This includes Alexius Pollux, and a group of Ultras from Calth including Aeonid Thiel, who end up actually being Alpha Legion assassins in disguise that nearly kill Guilliman. After this Guilliman’s Chamberlain and adopted mother Euten (yes, Guilliman has a human mother) pressures him to declare the Imperium Secundus, but he under no circumstances wants to be Emperor. He says he would even rather Crown Russ as the new emperor instead of himself. At the same time Vulkan Teleports in and his body is recovered, Grammaticus infiltrates Macragge disguised as Oll and Damon Prytanis, the perpetual from Betrayer shows up and kills a daemon sent after him. It is now that the Lion and the Dark Angels Legion show up to much celebration. The Lion is dismayed at Guilliman’s plans, but can see the sense in them, though he has no wish to be Emperor either. However it is now that Curze breaks free of the Lion’s flagship and sets to work on Macragge City. He blows up Guilliman’s private chambers nearly killing him and the Lion, who only survive because of the teleportation function of the Pharos. There’s a priceless bromance between Warsmith Dantioch and Alexius Pollux as well which leads to Pollux volunteering to stay with Dantioch. Eventually they are able to reverse the teleport function of the Pharos and Guilliman and the Lion return to Macragge. Meanwhile Vulkan wakes up and chases Curze across the city, Curze hijacking a Storm Eagle in his haste to escape. All the while Grammaticus is out trying to kill Vulkan with the Fulgurite Spear, but the loyalist word Bearer Narek is after him. Narek wants the spear so he can kill Lorgar with it and save his legion. And Damon is after John as well, for different reasons. Eldrad the dick also appears, speaking to John for a bit. He convinces John that he can defy the Cabal and save Vulkan with the spear instead of killing him which is what the Cabal wants. So the climax is when John and Damon catch up with Vulkan, only for Curze to drop in and nearly kill the three of them before he is sucked into the Warp by a Daemon. Finally John stabs Vulkan with the Spear, only for it to backfire (probably what Eldrad had planned all along) and kill Vulkan. Sangy arrives, and the Lion and Guilliman both agree he should be the new Emperor. So Sangy is crowned Regent, and Curze who escapes the Warp by some method vows to destroy the Imperium II. "ОНИ УБИЛИ КЕННИ!!!"The three brothers stood and looked upon the body of Vulkan for a long time. The fallen primarch had been placed in a golden casket, fashioned by artisans of the Mechanicum. ‘Vulkan. Terra, you should have told me, Roboute!’ said the Lion. ‘Just as you should have told me about Konrad,’ Guilliman replied. ‘What was it? “You keep too many secrets, brother”,’ the Lion reminded him. ‘Point taken,’ Guilliman said. He sighed. The top of the casket was clear glass. Vulkan’s dead body had been dressed in fresh wargear taken from Guilliman’s armoury and decorated in the livery of the Salamanders. His hammer, Dawnbringer, lay upright across his breast. No one had been able to remove the spear lodged in his heart. ‘It is a sorry sight,’ whispered Sanguinius. ‘How many more of us must fall? How many more of us will Horus take?’ ‘Vulkan lives,’ said Guilliman. ‘This is the cry of the Salamanders, and I heartily uphold it. Even in his state of death, he represents the will in us to survive.’ ‘It is still a sad fate,’ said Sanguinius, ‘to be held in a casket here in the cold cellars of your Fortress, consigned for all eternity.’ ‘It is not a fate I would wish,’ Guilliman agreed. He gestured towards the figures of Zytos and the other Salamanders survivors who had blown to Macragge from the storm. They knelt around the golden casket, forming a mourning vigil. ‘I have pledged that, once the storm has abated, Zytos and his brothers will transport our brother’s body back to Nocturne and inter him in the clean soil of his home world.’ ‘This is more fitting,’ the Lion said. They withdrew from the vault. Guilliman turned and took a last sad look at the casket. Engraved upon it, on a gilded scroll, were the words ‘The Unbound Flame’.

"АД ПРОДОЛЖАЕТСЯ!!!"drop pod assault needed a genecode to unlock, the primarch's genecode which he shares with his brothers the drop pods land and the dark angels stand down except one pod is full of blood curze is in, and killing everything in his way heading to the fortress of hera roboute nearly puts the lion through a wall when he finds out he fights with polux and an ultramarine in a chapel, who hold him long enough for the lion and roboute to arrive dantioch somehow pulled polux through the beacon device (it's xenos tech that runs on emotions) onto sotha, where the device is located on the eastern fringe they fight, but it's a trap, curze has rigged the chapel with 75 grenades and is taking his 2 brothers down with him all the marines converge on the chapel, with no word from anyone in 10 minutes but curze has escaped the net and gone to the residency the wolves are waiting for him by the hearth, but even they fail but hold him long enough for someone else to arrive vulkan. he's not insane. he's just insane with rage narek has captured john g and the fulgrite. we learn the fulgrite (a weapon created from the emperor's will) is most powerful when wielded by a perpetual (of which the big E is the daddy of them all). combined power and all that. narek intends to use this to kill a primarch. that primarch is lorgar few more chapters to go still no sign of sanguinius and the blood angels Нарек хочет использовать фульгурит, чтобы убить...
