имея 1.4 мегабита канал у меня тем не менее уже 20 минут качаются патчи к официальному старкрафту. Они его, что до сих пор патчат на радость корейцам? O_o

Я в нее не гамал, но что мне там определенно нравится, так там идет все по сюжету, и как только ты выполнил супер-пупер-партийный-эпический квест на сюжет, то все, мир изменился и тебя перебрасывает на "новое" зеркало и прощай зеленые нубы и другие отстающие =)

n this issue of the Dev Diary, James Casey takes us through the blood, sweat and tears of one of 1.1's most exciting new features: Player statues! Who’s the Man (or Woman)? The central theme of WAR is well, just that: war. It’s everywhere. Defending your realm and taking the fight to the enemy requires blood, sweat, and tears. Players in WAR are rewarded for their efforts through the accumulation of renown. Renown gives you access to training, equipment, and abilities that show off your dedication to the cause. But sometimes you need more; sometimes you need recognition. After all, what good is fortune without fame? With that in mind, WAR tracks player accomplishments and we currently have a number of great leaderboards available on the Warhammer Herald to track your character against other characters in the Realm War. (Check out the Realm War and Leaderboards here.) That’s fine and dandy, but how do players in game know who’s number one? You might know it, but it’s no fun if no-one else knows it. (If you’re like me, you like to tell them as often as possible, even if it’s being the best at dying…) But it’s not like you can tell everyone right? You can’t just put a statue up to yourself and have people praise you… can you? Wouldn’t it be cool if you could? We think so! Coming in December, patch 1.1 will introduce an in-game Top Ten leaderboard system that will put up statues for the best of the best right smack down in the middle of the Cities! But, before we go into that more, let’s talk about the blood, sweat, and tears that it took to get this system into the game. The Blood The desire to add in-game recognition has been an ongoing project for some time. The idea for the statues came about as a way to tie the recognition into our living cities and have it seamlessly integrate into the game and remain in-character. To accommodate this, art was commissioned for statues of every class in game in both male and female varieties (where applicable). With plan in hand, the artists went to work and created some great statues that look very much at home in the cities. Check out some shots here… From there, we needed to figure out how to set up the statues to be dynamic. We wanted the Top Ten statues to update themselves as players clawed their way into the list or got pushed violently out. To do that, we enlisted some clever coders to work out how we could setup a system to do this that would be self-sufficient. The coders worked it out, but it brought us to a point where we needed some additional help pulling this off… The Sweat With artwork in hand and a system in place, the next step was to approach Operations: those fine folks who operate the servers and run all the back-end stuff that basically keeps the game going. We needed a way to translate the metrics that are tracked for the server (the same ones that fuel the leaderboards on the Realm War page mentioned earlier) and make that same information available in game for our personalized statues. Operations worked there magic to transform the data compiled on the leaderboards and in metrics to transfer the information needed back to the servers (typically metrics are a one-way street.) Once we were able to get that worked out with our fine folks in Operations, we were almost home free. We then got content to wire up the statues, which are static objects in our world, to the new dynamic code, and voila; we have a system. Now, we just needed to test it all out, which brings us up to date basically, as the code, data, and content are now in the final stage: testing… The Tears Now that we’ve got a system, all that is left is the testing. This involves putting the code and content together with the data. It’s like a Reese’s peanut butter cup. You’ve got your data in my code! Etc. I think you get the image. To test, we are taking data pulled from a live server as our test data for our internal servers. Using this leaderboard information, we then have the new dynamic statue system read it in and modify the statues based on the current leaders. Voila! Instant notoriety on our internal server. Before we move to the final section and wrap up, you might be wondering why this section is called “The Tears”. Well it boils down to two things: One, tears of sadness that we couldn’t get this to you sooner; and Two, tears of joy that such a wonderful plan has come together and will soon find it’s way into your hands. The Reward! After all of this hard work, 1.1 will launch a new way for players to brag to their friends and realm-mates. These dynamic statues will call out the best of the best and give you something to shoot for! Plus, if your name on a statue wasn’t enough, there just might be other things in the works for players who are the best of the best. Heck, there might even be rewards for taking out the best of the best… Bwahaha. In any case, get cracking on your renown and you might find yourself looking at yourself in statue form very soon! City Dungeon Itemization * Game Update 1.0.6 introduced several changes to City Dungeon Itemization. These changes were intended to be part of patch 1.1 but were released prematurely with 1.0.6. They are part of our greater plan to increase the availability of rarer items in the dungeons as a whole. While the number of Sentinel Armor Set pieces dropped from bosses will remain reduced players can look forward to even more rewards with the arrival of 1.1! Below are the patch notes for the upcoming 1.1 changes, we’ve updated the notes on the Herald and on the patcher as well: Dungeon Itemization Improvements As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the dungeons of WAR we have begun working on improved itemization in all of our Dungeons. With version 1.1 we are happy to accounce improvements to the following dungeons: City Dungeons - Bilerot Burrow, Bloodwought Enclave, Sigmar’s Crypts, Warpblade Tunnels General * As a result of this review and reitemization process, groups who complete the improved dungeons will now end up with more loot than ever before! * New, unique Rare and Very Rare items have been introduced into all of the city dungeons! * Dungeon drop rates have been adjusted to better spread loot throughout the entire dungeon, moving some of the focus off the main bosses and allowing players who don’t complete the dungeon to have a chance at better drops * General monsters will drop significantly more loot then they did previously Mini Bosses * Mini bosses will now always drop at least one item, with a small chance to drop the new Rare or Very Rare dungeon items * Mini bosses will now have a chance to drop Sentinel Set items, the chance of getting an item will increase the higher your City Rank is Bosses * The total number of Sentinel set items dropped by bosses has been reduced, due to the new drop rates on * All bosses will now drop between three and five items depending on your city ranking All bosses will now drop one of the new unique Rare or Very Rare items 100% of the time * All bosses will now drop a rare dye 100% of the time * All bosses will drop between 1 and 2 Sentinel set items depending on your city ranking * All bosses have a 50% chance to drop the sentinel set belt at all times

Там не совсем не то. там сюжет другой. Там сюжет вертится вокруг русских семей, живших в германии до войны. Потом они перебрались в СССР, когда война началась. Далее сюжет идет так - часть советских предателей трудится на Германию, дабы создать атомное оружие. Вот и посылают туда наших снайперов, выходцев как раз из тех семей. И в итоге они действует под прикрытием и мешают немцам. В итоге они отстреливают и немцев и наших предателей. У меня просто отец гамал :) Кстати вот тут сразу подняли волну "Не буду играть, это плохо". А вспомнить этого козла Тома Кленси? А игры серии операция как-то там поинт? Почему это все молчали, а тут наши выпустили и все повылазили,а? Значит когда американцы делают стрелялки, в которых нужно убивать наших солдат - это ниче так, погамать можно, а тут наши выпустили стратегию по августовским событиям - так это сразу "фи какая гадость"

Мне по учебе очень нужно . В комп-классе нет нормальных условий и постоянно не хватает компов, то сами эти классы закрыты. А самый дешевый ноут стоит намного дороже, чем самый дорогой нет-бук, который даже банально своими статами уделает этот ноут

таки купил этот нет-бук =) Шикарно, в диком восторге. Мелкая машинка, но производительность ой как хороша. Согласно тому сайту, она легко тянет вов на максималках ( правда двух графических эффектов не будет). Только не нужен мне уже вов. Плюс из-за маленького экрана, все старые, классические игры, легенды жанра выглядят просто "как и должно было быть". Поставил все-таки себе два гига ДДР2 ( они снизили цену, и поэтому с этим апгрейдом он стоит столько же, сколько и месяц назад). но самое главное из-за чего он брался- это мобильный вариант оффиса и инета. Работает все как часы. Ставил естественно 2003, и работает он четко. Документы открывает и обрабатывает как и его большой брат. Кстати встроенный вай-вай неожиданно оказался мощнее моего асусовского внешнего на стационаре O_o В общем- я жутко доволен В)

Аугметика распространена, да. Но там где необходима. отстрелили палец? Поставим новый. Слишком старый чтобы ходить? Поставим экзо-скелет. Ну и т.д. Но именно АМ целенаправленно заменяют свои теле аугметикой, чтобы стать ближе к Омниссии. Напомню, что высшие "должностные лица" АМ - это уже 90% - машины, где "биомасса" это мозг и пару органов. Правда я читал, что Магус Биологус - самые "живые из живых" =)

Хмм самое верное средство- переустановка системы. Плюс антивирь должен все-таки стоять. Скачай любой сломанный с торентов или если ты со стрима или корбины- они дает либо нод либо дрВеб бесплатно

Greetings! In the interest of communication to the players we have added and clarified some notes for Game Update 1.0.6. We apologize that these were not included in the original 1.0.6 notes. Read on for the latest info. Cast Bar Responsiveness In version 1.0.6 we resolved a number of issues that related to cast bar functionality and combat responsiveness. The following improvements have been made: * Spells will no longer be interrupted accidentally if you begin moving after the cast bar has disappeared * Cast bars will no longer restart or flicker after the spell has finished. * Spell effects and animations should no longer restart after the spell has finished and the cast bar has disappeared * Damage values and impacts will now sync up closer to when the actual damage is applied to the target As a result of these changes players may experience spell animation looping or a slight pause after completing a spell cast in certain environments. We are aware of concerns players are expressing over these changes and are closely monitoring the issue. We are working on a fix to eliminate the graphical delay after the completion of a spell or ability. These changes are part of our ongoing efforts to improve overall game responsiveness based on issues that the WAR community has identified. We look forward to your feedback and will continue to improve spell animations and effects. Combat and Careers Bright Wizard * Detonate – Fixed an issue with Detonate that was causing the full amount of the spell to hit per tick, rather than being dispersed over the duration of the spell. Magus * Pets will now benefit from friendly group spells (buffs, Auras, heals etc.) Squig Herder * Pets will now benefit from friendly group spells (buffs, Auras, heals etc.) Engineer * Pets will now benefit from friendly group spells (buffs, Auras, heals etc.) Warrior Priest * Leading the Prayer: This Tactic will now properly heal the caster White Lion * Pets will now benefit from friendly group spells (buffs, Auras, heals etc.) Items * Hammers and Great Hammers o Ironbreakers have gained the ability to use Hammers (one hand) & Great Hammers (two hand) o Some (but not all) Influence Rewards, Quests, etc. have had hammers added to their possible rewards. o Some (but not all) Dwarf Hammers are Engineer-only. These are Spanner-type items as well as hammers that have Engineer-specific bonuses and stats. o Dwarfs are not able to use Empire hammers, similar to how Elves cannot use Empire swords. * Ironwind: This item was previously itemized with stats for a two-handed weapon of its type. The item has been fixed to have stats comparable to all other 1 handed items of its rarity and level * Players who purchased the collector’s edition will now be able to receive the exclusive in-game head models for the two new classes, Blackguard and Knights of the Blazing Sun. Players may need to log the character out of the game and back in to have the system generate the in-game email properly if the character was logged in at the time of this hot fix. Note: Players will still need to be flagged to access the new classes from doing the Heavy Metal event to have access to the new classes during 1.06. Players not flagged will get the rewards when they have access to the characters when the classes launch in patch 1.1.

"Last week we reaffirmed our ongoing commitment to improving overall client performance in Tier 4 and large-scale RvR battles. Today, we’re excited to announce that we have released a new client update that will significantly increase players’ frame rate in RvR battles (especially in large-scale encounters) as well reduce and/or eliminate character “ghosting” and flickering. You will automatically receive this update the next time you log in to WAR. As always, this is not the last improvement we plan on making but it certainly is a major and needed improvement to WAR. We’re eager to hear your feedback on this client update, so please be sure to visit your favorite fan site and let us know how it’s worked for you!" некоторое время назад я постил здесь письмо разрабов о том, что они знают о проблемах, связанных с большими лагами во время опен РвР, особенно в Тиер 4 зоне. Сегодня, когда Америка уже играет с патчем 1.06, а Европа только-только его получает, Мифики выпустили апдейт для самого клиента игры. Они обещали, что этот апдейт значительно увеличит производительность игры и многие проблемы отпадут. При этом, они не собираются останавливаться и они продолжат работу по увеличению стабильности и производительности самого Вара :)

Насколько я помню из книг по Вахе, то происходит это относительно просто. Есть миры-Кузницы. на них трудятся миллионы рабочих, за ними следят АМ, они смотрят и выделяют тех, кто еще и проявляет интерес, кто лучше справляется со своей работой в ввиду интуитивного понимания самих машин ну и т.д. им предлагается продвинуться немного выше. Ну а там все выше и выше и получается новый АМ :)
