Excellent news… how about some more Raven Guard? I know they’re moving on to the Solar War but another novel would be great.

The various Raven Guard storylines will be (partly) tied down before the end, don’t fear on that account.

Hi Gav, I’m a big 1st Legion fan have been since I started collecting and they returned from the warp in the 90’s! (I miss Naaman) Guess my question is when does the legacy of Caliban continue and will it tie in with Wolf Time we have been seeing with Curse of the Wulfen?

Hi, thanks for reading. As of this moment, bearing in mind plans might change, the Legacy of Caliban trilogy is complete. Which I suppose answers your other questions as well – the Curse of the Wulfen is something entirely separate and comes directly from the Design Studio.

I’m currently writing a book that takes us back to the early days of Azrael’s command, but after that my attention will be turning away from the Dark Angels. (However, I might return to the Consecrators at some point as I had a lot of fun with the Chapter Master in The Unforgiven.)

I’ve just finished a Horus Heresy audio entitle The Thirteenth Wolf and I’ve returned to the Raven Guard in that setting too. I’m about to embark on a short novel in the Warhammer 40,000 universe (literally, when I’m done this I start typing!) but that’s not announced yet.

You also recently wrote Asurman: Hand of Asuryan, taking on the story of one of the Eldar’s most iconic special characters. What was it like, writing his story? Any particular challenges?

It was my most redrafted novel to date, with a lot of back and forth between me and the editor to get the right feel, to keep Asurmen as the central character without exploding the entirety of the mythos around him, and telling a gripping story. An intrinsic part of the story for me was to take a look back at the Fall, the catastrophic collapse of the Eldar civilisation (and subsequent devouring by a newborn Chaos God!). At the same time, I didn’t want that to overshadow the ‘current day’ events that were the backbone of the tale. And it was a challenge to do that whilst fitting everything in to the 50,000 word limit I had been briefed by the Black Library. The intent was that it would start an irregular series, potentially by multiple authors, and the good news is that I’ve pitched a follow-up book that Black Library are considering at the moment.

Ползал я тут на Амазоне и наткнулся на пару книг, которые скоро выйдут.

1) Омнибус "Крестоносцы Дорна", куда войдет весь цикл Гая Хейли! Все 7 произведений. Это рассказы "Чёрные пилигримы", "Круг чести", "Хелбрехт: крестоносец", "Славная гробница", "Только кровь", "Сезон теней" и роман "Вечный крестоносец". Все произведения, к слову, переведены на варфордже достопочтенным Хелбрехтом.

2) Обновили обложку "Теневого Меча" Гая Хейли. Вторая книга в серии. Продолжение "Карающего Клинка".

Вышел омнибус\сборник "Крестоносцы Дорна" от Гая Хейли, где типо весь его цикл про Храмовников. Состав: Circle of Honour, The Black Pilgrims, Helbrecht: The Crusader, The Glorious Tomb, Only Blood and Season of Shadows. И неожиданно новинка - The Uncanny Crusade (Хел, ну ты понял, да? :rolleyes: )

Я, честное слово, думал, что в омнибус будет включен "Вечный Крестоносец", но, однако нет. Новым рассказом БЛ побаловало.

Хах. Не успел. :)

В этот раз Банник и команда воюют в Geratomro warzone, оказывая поддержку (как следует из названия) роте танков типа Shadowsword, охотников за Титанами, в битве решающей судьбу трёх систем.

Может, для упрощения дальнейшего поиска, стоит указывать названия новинок на английском?
