Кайм в своем блоге уточняет грядущие прожекты:

"Feat of Iron" (новелла в "Примархах") - is about Ferrus Manus of the Iron Hands and really delves into his psyche and how he sees himself ranked up against the other primarchs. It runs concurrently with the storyline of Promethean Sun but is in no way dependent on that story. There some pretty f*!king awesome revelations in it about Ferrus Manus and a hint about what’s to come in the next phase of the Heresy storyline too.

"Perfection" (аудиодрама) - about a warband of the Emperor’s Children called the Incarnadine Host. It’s a bit different as it’s kind of a battlefield mystery story but with lots of extremely visceral action, and a killer twist.

"Tome of Fire" (антология Саламандр) - an anthology of all my short stories for the Salamanders. It also includes the audio drama Fireborn and will contain a brand new novella (which is where the work comes from). Rare gems such as The Burning will also be in there (that was a chapbook story from BLL 2009 – I think) and I might see if Emperor’s Deliverance will fit in too (it’s more focused on Marines Malevolent but does have a rather cool cameo by Tu’Shan).

"Scorched Earth" (новелла, Ересь) - won’t be limited edition but will be a forerunner to a later novel I have in the works. It’s set in the aftermath of Isstvan V and features two Salamander characters searching for Vulkan’s body amongst the ruins and devastation. Expect a cameo from one of the Iron Hands in ‘Feat of Iron’ too… Oh, and the cover by Neil Roberts is absolutely stunning. Very moody and something rather different for the Horus Heresy, not really seen before.

* Э. Смилли пишет/написал аудиодраму Deathwolf про Эрика Моркаи с использованием датского, шведского и финского акцентов в постановке.

* К. Данн пишет/написал короткую аудиодраму Bloodspire про Метраэна из КА. (based on the Axonar Spirewar battle entry in the Blood Angels Codex. Captain Castigon also features)

* оба рассказа будут продаваться где-то в мае только в цифровом виде.

* после сентября планируется выйти на стабильное производство 1 аудиоистория/месяц.

* в The Butcher's Nails задействованы аж 4 разных голоса для персонажей + рассказчик.

* "Трон лжи" будет в текстовом виде в сб. Treacheries of the Space Marines.

* в будущем аудио по серии Space Marine Battles будут 2-хдисковыми - сам рассказ + бонусный материал.

* возможно появление аудио про Гарро и Тарвица. как название упоминался некий Grey Angel .

* в отношении истории Гарро упоминался еще один сюжетный поворот, в кот-м конфликт Дорна и Малкадора развивается, и Дорн начинает набор собственных агентов - в первую очередь из легионов, оставшихся без примархов (Руки и Саламандры). упоминалось название Burden of Unity.

* Гарро же может появиться в еще одном аудио с участием "Фаланги". наконец, тот же Гарро может удостоиться в будущем еще одного романа.

* The Keeler Image Абнетта запланировано на декабрь 2013.

* Макнилл будет работать над аудио, к-ый может быть продолжением к Ауткаст Дед.

* возможно, будут еще аудио, посвященные примархам. так же возможно, скрипты к аудиорассказам можно будет получить через печать-по-требованию.

* К. Райт пишет новеллу по Белым Шрамам (в рамках Ереси).

* так или иначе будет раскрыта судьба Вулкана после его исчезновения.

* в ноябре (BL Weekender) будет сделано объявление о неком новом формате, в котором будет представлена Ересь.

The fate of traitors and fools, carried into the VIII Legion as it conquered the stars. The Ultramaries had taken that tradition, as they took so much from the other Legions. It was less severe, less grave among the warriors of Ultramar - to them, it merely meant censure. To the sons of Nostramo, it was a death sentence. The mark of the condemned.

Trez smoothed his thinning white hair back from his pockmarked features, arranging a piece of parchment on the desk, until it was placed just so. He read the words from the cream-coloured paper, between rebreather wheezes. "Jago Sevatarion, born in City's Edge. First Captain of the VIII Legion, Commander of the Atramentar, officer of the Kyroptera; known also by the names Sevatar the Condemned, and..." Trez snorted, shaking his head, "...and by the rather amusing title, Prince of Crows."

Синопсис к "Избранному Кхорна": далеко-далеко, в самом Оке Ужаса, кхорнатики начинают выяснять между собой, кто из них достоин вести очередной крестовый поход против Империума. ‘No, please! Don’t!’ he cried, but the men holding him gave his pleas no mind. A bulked-out servitor with piston-driven musculature hauled him inside the iron-hulled vehicle, where at least thirty other men were shackled in various states of disarray. Abrehem saw Coyne and Ismael trussed like livestock ready for slaughter. The ogryn sat with its back rest¬ing against the interior of the confinement compartment with a bemused smile on its face, as though this were a mild diversion from its daily rou¬tine instead of a life-changing moment of horror.

‘No!’ he screamed as the steel doors slammed shut, leaving them sealed in dim, red-lit darkness.

Abrehem wept as he felt the engine roar and the heavy vehicle moved off. He kicked out at the doors, almost breaking bone as he slammed his heels into the metalwork again and again.

‘Won’t do you any good,’ said a voice behind him.

Abrehem turned angrily to see the man who’d threatened Ismael with the knife. He no longer had his weapon, and his hands were bound before him with plastek cuffs. Like the ogryn, he seemed unnaturally calm, and Abrehem hated him for that.

‘Where are they taking us?’ he said.

‘Where do you think? To the embarkation platforms. We’ve been col¬lared and we’re on our way to the bowels of a starship to shovel fuel, haul ammunition crates or some other shitty detail until we’re dead or crippled.’

‘You sound pretty calm about it.’

The man shrugged. ‘I reckon it’s my lot in life to get shit on from on high. I think the Emperor has a very sick sense of humour when it comes to my life. He puts me through the worst experiences a man could have, but keeps me alive. And for what? So I can go through more shit? Damn, but I wish He’d have done with me.’

Abrehem heard the depths of the man’s anguish and an echo of some¬thing so awful that it didn’t bear thinking about. It sounded like the truth.

‘Those things you told the regimental commanders really happened, didn’t they?’ said Abrehem.

The man nodded.

‘And all that stuff on Hydra Cordatus? It was all true?’

‘Yeah, I told the truth. For all the good it did me,’ said the man, holding out a cuffed hand to Abrehem. ‘Guardsman Julius Hawke. Welcome to the shit.’

Макнилл накатал в блоге внушительную простыню текста про "Ангел Экстерминатус". По большей части там вода, суть же такова:

- Макнилл очень любит и ЖВ, и ДИ. Книга будет про оба Легиона в равной степени.

- Первые главы будут про Железных Воинов после Исствана-5, но до встречи Фулгрима и Пертурабона, то есть во время "The Reflection Crack'd". Оторвут ли голову Форриксу? Или Кроагеру? После изобретения этоварпа никто из старых персонажей не может спать спокойно.

- Макнилл хочет удовлетворить каждого извращенца и осадного инженера, потому нас ждут новые персонажи, новые цветовые схемы, новые юниты, новые традиции и куча других обновлений. Лично мне интересно, введёт ли Макнилл в бэк советника Пертурабо Растигана.

На колокольчике выложили небольшие спойлеры по грядущим НН книжкам.

First up, Iron Hands stuff. These guys are my favourite so they were the focus of my questioning.

After the death of Ferrus Manus….. some Iron Hands turn renegade! Boom! Acoording to Christian Dunn, they start to think that if Ferrus was so easily manipulated and taken out then their faith in him was misplaced and they start to look to Horus as a symbol of strength and leadership.

Chaos Iron Hands = awesome.

I said that the story of how the Iron Hands deal with the death of their Primarch would be a great story. Boom! Mr Dunn told me not to worry. The story goes that the Legion becomes fractured and there are disparate groups of Iron Hands roaming the galaxy carrying out hit and run attacks on the traitor forces taking their revenge and kicking ***.

Now, here is where it gets interesting. It turns out there was an Iron Hand on Terra at the time of the Isstvan attack. He implied he was one of the crusader host from ‘The Outcast Dead’. Rogal Dorn gives this guy a mission. To go out into the galaxy and gather up the many elements of his Legion and bring them back to Terra to bolster the defences. However, when he meets his brothers he thinks maybe they are doing a more useful job out in space kicking traitor ***. Boom!

Then I asked about Ferrus Manus’ head. Weird question I know but I’m thinking if he has a bit of necron in him then maybe he isn’t really dead. He smiled at me and said they do have some plans for the head of Ferrus Manus! Boom! They are definitely not bringing him back but the head is gonna pop up again.

There is an upcoming audio drama. It is the story of the very first meeting between Maclador and the Emperor. Boom! I’m looking forward to some more Emperor action.

I asked Graham Mcneil about his upcoming stuff and he was very excited about what he was writing now, angel Exterminatus. It is a story with both the Emperors Children and the Iron Warriors. He said it started out as a story about the Emperors Children with an appearance from the Iron Warriors. But he was having such a good time writing about Perturabo that they have ended up taking over. He spoke about Perturabo at some length and how much of a craftsman he is and an artist but how he and his Legion get the dirty jobs of garrisoning worlds and don’t get the glory of the other Legions. This creates such a great bitterness in him that after the events on his home planet he has no real choice but to side with Horus. Graham McNeil was very excited about this story and if he can get that on to the page they we are in for a belter of a book.

Lastly I asked why there are no Wolves on Fenris? Mr McNeil smiled. I asked if they were, mutated Fenrisians, mutated Space Wolves or manifestations of the warp. He wouldn’t say. He just said that he and Dan Abnett have discussed it and the issue will be brought up again but I get the feeling it will never be definitively answered and we will always be left wondering.
