just saw the next WDW, it's about apocalypse formation of knight, and a

book of apocalyspe will be sold.

nothing about the new guard ogryns or scions etc...

painting articles about metabrutus, pages about apocalypse, a dataslate for

daemons (exalted chariot tzench) and a datasheet for a knight formation in

apocalypse.

Crimson Slaughter

2 pages of actual rules

Possessed become troops, lose whatever the possessed special rule is and gain a D3 roll at the start of their owning players turn.

1: Shrouded for the unit and transport

2: Change from Infantry to Beasts

3: Gives a 3+ Invul

Relics

*Armour that gives a 2+ save, crusader, and it will not die for 40 pts

*Item that gives your sorcerors access to Divination for 25 pts but prevents using their bonus to deny the witch.

*Weapon for Lords only that uses S: User AP3 and bonus's for each kill

1 kill for +1S, 3 kills for AP2, 5 kills for +1S, 10 kills for Instant Death.

Of course these are rumors, as we have not seen anything official on the release front of things. However if true, I really like that they are using the model for the Exalted Flamer and giving it some rules.

Exalted Flamer

I have the WD7, and the rules released are for the Exalted flamer without

his chariot (since heralds occasionally steals it):

Marine stats with 3W 3A Ld7. HQ that takes up a Herald slot.

IC infantry, no jump, can't buy further gifts Blue and Pink fire. Also

Fantasy stats, but I am not into that currently. So, not a cashgrab or

improvement on the chariot itself, just a way to use the model if you took

the herald on the disc instead. Apparently they asked Jervis because they

thought it was a waste of the model.

Imperial Knight Formation

Household Spearhead is 3-5 Knights in an armoured spearhead, 1 of which is

a Knight Warlord (I assume he gets a warlord trait, at least he is a

Seneschal). They have either Interceptor or scout, chosen when deployed.

Apocalypse Damocles

Damocles will have Tau Paradox Squadron, Sun shark bombers with a D weapon.

Tau Ranged Support Cadre, who double their number of markerlights.

Helstorm Squadron of Hellhounds with Instant Death helstorm template.

The following are the ones they show the full page of. Tiny text as usual,

but readable.

*Piranha firestream Squadron; 5 piranha that, if they end deployment within

6" of a table edge, they can enter ongoing reserve, then enter again with

full numbers again, fully repaired. Always enter play on second turn.

*Ethereal council; 1-5 ethereals, 01 Aun'va, 01 Aun'Shi. 24" Failure is not

an option, bleeds one Strategic victory point, everyone can invoke one

additional elemental power.

Focus seems to be on Shadowsun, House Terryn, Raven Guard and White Scars

Orks

Still have the Mob and Furious Charge rules

Orks now have 6+ FNP

Each unit now has Waaagh! points

Waaagh! charge now per unit, not per army.

Sluggas generate 1 Waaagh! point for each turn in combat

Shootas generate 1 point for each unit kill with shooting

Waaagh points also generated from every 3 units of 10+ models (unsure of this one)

Mega Armour now has Deepstrike rule

Boyz

Unit gets 2pts cheaper and weapons are now upgrades.

Choppas are AP6. +1str AP4 on charge. Cost 1pt each

Shootas cost 2pts each

Big Choppas now +2str AP4. AP3 on charge

Lootas

Deffguns are now options

Unit is now cheaper and has more options for weapons

Gains new rule: Loot

- If in base-to-base contact with a destroyed vehicle, they can fire one of its weapons. Not clarified if per turn or per game.

Flash Gitz

Weapons now have random range instead of random AP

New range is 12 + 3D6”. Triple 1 on range causes Overheat

Weapon upgrade options include +1Bs, +1 Attack, Blast, Skyfire

Stormboyz

Can now assault Fliers

Must move 18” on movement if charging a flier

Grots

Whole bunch of Grot units, including Grot Buggies, Whirlybirds, Rokkits and Snotlings

Grot Boss unit – has same stats as an Ork Boy with +1Bs

Gretchin

Now separate from Grots

Units of up to 20, 2pts per model

Has an upgrade called Control Collars: basically, bomb collars that explode when the unit fails Leadership. Think alternative for Runtherders

Weirdboyz

Now have a warp powers table; either Divination, Gork or Mork

Use Waaagh! points for powers

Waaagh points also contribute to Weirdboy’s death. When he dies, casts "Eadbanga" on himself. More points means bigger and more powerful explosions

Bomb squigs now can be taken as units

Includes more options. Can have upgrades for more powerful explosions or melta

Due to Waaagh! changes, Ghaz has 3 Waaaghs! Not sure if armywide or distributed to units

Killa Kanz to Elites – may require Grot boss

NEW UNITS

New unit of Warlord Nobz, can be taken as HQ. One Nob is the Warlord. On death, another Nob is the Warlord. Must kill entire unit for the kill

Possible mek tanks with upgrades

- Upgrades including a KFF and a SAG that shoots bomb squigs – if they miss you place a bomb squig

SAG and Flakk guns might be taken as Big Gunz unit

Halftrakk unit called Gutripper

Multi-wound Squiggoth-like beast

Supplements

Goffs and Blood Axes first

Blood Axes can allow Kommandos as troops and can ally with Guardsmen

Formation Rules

As mentioned before, there are 3 Formations in this book. We'll look at each of them and I'll share my initial impressions of them in turn.

Mayhem Pack

Do you want to Deep Strike Helbrutes into your enemy's lines and watch the chaos unfurl? Well then this is the Formation for you. Consisting of 3 Helbrutes this formation has the 3 following Special Rules:
It Will Not Die
Mayhem from the Maelstrom: All of the units in this Formation must begin the game in Reserve. When making Reserve Rolls, make a single roll for the entire Formation. On a successful Reserve Roll, all of the units in this Formation arrive from Reserve by Deep Strike.
Tormented Terrors: At the start of each of your Movement phases, make a single roll on the Crazed Table. All of the Helbrutes in this formation are affected by the result, even if they have not suffered a glancing or penetrating hit.
While more dangerous than the loyalist method of throwing Dreadnoughts near enemy lines this method is cheaper, doesn't use a Force Organizational Slot and gives It Will Not Die to the Helbrutes. All in all not a bad option for throwing them deep in the enemy lines. I'd likely load a formation like this with Multi-Meltas and Powerfists with Flamers just to ensure as much carnage as quickly as possible, but everyone has their own idea how to best sew terror with these guys I bet. Regardless they look like they could be a lot of fun to throw into the enemy lines and watch the mayhem unfurl.
Helcult

Do you like Cultists? Do you ever feel that those same Cultists could do more to protect other models in your army? Have you ever wanted to see them fling themselves in harm's way to protect other models? Then the Helcult has just the answer (and potential amusement) just for you! Consisting of a single Helbrute and 2 units of Cultist (of any size, but you may want to take large units for this one, you'll need the bodies) it comes with the following rules:
Apocalyptic Fury: This Formation's Helbrute has the Rage special rule. Futhermore, when rolling To Hit with the Helbrute's Melee attacks, any unmodified rolls of 1 are not discard. Instead, they automatically hit a friendly model (but not the Helbrute) nearby. Randomly determine (for each roll of a 1) which model is hit, from those in 6" of the Helbrute, even if they are not involved in the same combat. If there are no viable targets in range, these Attacks are discarded.
Living Idol of Chaos: As long as the Helbrute is alive, both of the Formation's units of Chaos Cultists have the fearless special rule. If the Helbrute is completely destroyed, the Formation's units of Chaos Cultists lose the Fearless special rule, but gain the Zealot special rule.
Human Shields: If the Helbrute is partially obscured from the firer's line of sight by models from one, or more of the Formation's units of Chaos Cultists, it receives a 3+ cover save. However, for each successful cover save the controlling player makes as a result of this special rule the nearest intervening Cultist model is removed as a casualty with no saves allowed.
When news of the formations first broke this was the formation that interested me the most, and I'm glad it to find out it's even more entertaining that I expected. With a Helbrute who acts like Kharn in close combat (with a bigger aura of killing!), Fearless Cultists who become Zealots if the Helbrute is killed (giving them Fearless and Hatred) and the Human Shields rule making it possible to bubble wrap the Helbrute and march him across the table this might be the most interesting (and possibly distracting) formation, especially if you take the maximum formation size with 70 Cultists running across the board!
Helfist Murderpack

Do you like large vehicle squadrons? Or do you wish that Helbrutes could be a little more predictable and controllable? Perhaps you have a lot of extra Helbrute models floating around because you bought a lot of Dark Vengeance sets. Well if any of this applies to you, this might be right up your alley! A formation consisting of five Helbrutes (yes, FIVE) the Helbrutes in this formation has a special restriction: one Helbrute must be nominated as the Helbrute Champion. In exchange the formation has the following special rules:
Murder Pack: All Helbrutes in this formation count as a single vehicle squadron.
Pack Leader: The Helbrute Champion has the Vehicle (character) unit type, and the Aura of Dark Glory Chaos reward. Other Helbrutes in the same vehicle unit can make Look Out, Sir attempts to protect the Helbrute Champion as long as they are within 6". Furthermore, if any of the Formation's Helbrutes have crazed markers, do not roll on the Crazed Table if the Helbrute Champion is still alive; instead the controlling player can choose which result affects them each turn, though the nominated result applies to all the Helbrutes in the formation with crazed markers.
Death of a Leader: If the Helbrute Champion is completely destroyed, all other Helbrutes in the Formation gain the Rage special rule.
This on strikes me as possibly the biggest surprise. Running at least 500 points this is a unit with a massive footprint, but an interesting set of rules as well. The Helbrute Champion was an interesting addition with both the Character rule as well as the 5++ invulnerable save and the ability to pick which Crazed Result the unit will use every turn. Regardless of how you build the unit it won't be cheap but it will be possibly the most distracting vehicle squadron you could field outside of Apocalypse or the Guard codex. I don't see a lot of people running this one, mostly because of the model count requirement, but I do see it being potentially entertaining as you throw 5 large based models on the table and challenge your opponent to try and kill them quickly.

У нафтки выложили слухи по сционам и тауроксам. У сционов:

WS 3 BS 4 Str 3 To 3

То есть, как я понимаю, стреляют лучше гвардейца в остальном тоже самое. Хот-шот ласганы и карапас доспех. Могут брать плазмаган, мельтаган и некий оверчарджед ласган.

У таурокса броня 11 10 10 то есть ниже химеры, но переброс проваленные броски на террейн. На борту - автопушка, десять моделей вместимость. У Таурокс прайм - на выбор Missile Launcher, Battle Cannon или Gatling Cannon.

Got my hands on the new White Dwarf. Flipping through it now, I can confirm the previous reports of new orders and the Cadian Armoured Fist and Wyvern. Wyvern stats are:

AV 12 10 10, Open-Topped, Heavy Support slot and can be taken in 3s. They come with 2 Stormshard Cannons which as has been previously mentioned are TL, Heavy 2, Barrage, Ignores Cover and Shred at Str 4 AP 6 48 inch range and a Heavy Bolter that can be upgraded to Heavy Flamer.

The limited edition Astra Militarum Codex is cloth-bound and will be set at 2000 copies.

One thing that I have not seen mentioned is that all Astra Militarum detachments may now be upgraded to include up to 3 Primaris Psykers, Enginseers and Ministorum Priests.
