Я вам спойлеров принёс "Раскрывающийся текст"-Magnus [черт]ed over the Webway gate on Terra hard with his warning to the Emperor. Confirmed that the Emperor blames Magnus for the whole thing, but doesn't seem THAT bitter about it, more accepting and fatalistic. The breach has been named "Magnus' folly". -The Emperor is forced to sit on the Golden Throne to avoid the rift from consuming Terra. Later on the Sisters of Silence plug a thousand psykers into it and it allows the Emperor to leave the throne temporarily. -Emperor, Custodes, SoS, and loyalist Mechanicus are all fighting Daemons in the Webway. World Eaters and Legio Audax are now fighting the Imperials as well and nobody is sure how they got in there -The Emperor is on the Throne for much of the story constantly talking to a Custodes Tribune. He confides a lot of his life and thoughts on him and throughout the book the Tribune gets glimpses into the Emperor's memories -The war isn't going well for the Imperials and the Daemon Drach'yn (yes, the one inside Abaddon's sword) keeps possessing people and jumping from body to body. Drach'yn was formed after the first murder in human history (cain and abel) -Most of the book is fighting Daemons or the Emperor confiding things to the Tribune. No grand revelations or secrets revealed, which ADB had said would be the case in advance. -Much of the loyalist Mechanicum is bitter about losing mars and ultimately abandons the Emperor in the Webway believing they can navigate it back to Mars. This dooms the Imperial war effort and the Emperor decides to seal the portal permanently -Before that he puts Drach'yn into the body of the Custodes Tribune and tells him to run into the Webway as deep as he can go. The Custodes has so much willpower that he is able to resist being taken over by Drach'yn and in effect is a prison for the Daemon now wandering inside the Webway General observations/points of the book: -Much of the book is a description of the path from Terra down to the Webway Gate. The Emperor built it to be a really grand and massive thing, intended for all humans to travel the Galaxy from it. It was going to be an airport on steroids and the throneroom was more of a lounge area. -There is a brief glimpse of the Emperors childhood. As an adolescent in a neolithic-era middle eastern village he was charged with prepping bodies for burial rituals. He enjoyed the work and saw it as something of a work of art, it alludes to him creating the Primarchs. When prepping his dads corpse he realizes that his uncle killed him over some petty dispute. The Emperor is calm about it but goes up to his uncle and stops his heart with his psychic powers. -The Emperor doesnt' seem to consider the Primarchs legitimate sons, he calls them specimens with their number creation. i.e. Fulgrim was "Three" -There's a flashback to the Emperor and Arkan Land looking over an unconscious Angron right after he was taken. They say that the Butcher's Nails cant be taken out without killing him, but the Emperor coldly says that while Angron is broken he could still be useful and shouldn't be terminated. -The Emps only did the Ullanor triumph and maintains his current "golden god" form only for pomp and PR reasons. He considers it all petty and has devoted his entire existence to the Webway Project and the manifest destiny of humanity to rule the galaxy. The Webway Project was everything to him. -The Emperor's powers are hilarious and anime-ish. He teleports instantly, creating afterimages like things. At one point Drach'yn impales him only for his body to fizzle out in an afterimage with the Emperor already behind him. He also summons an army of "ghosts" of dead imperial servants to overrun the daemons. Ferrus is among them. -Arkhan Land is the leader of Mechanicum forces inside the Webway. He stays loyal to the Emperor throughout and is absolutely baller. He flies around on an anti-grav land raider with volkite weapons. -There's a wounded Blood Angel character who was part of the Crusader Host and fights with the Custodes. He's the only major space marine character in the book -The Emperor considers the Custodes his finest work and each is a separate work of art in and of itself to him. -It's semi-confirmed that the Custodes were the ones who purged the Thunder Warriors -In a weirder bit it's alluded that the Emperor was the one who wrote Pinocchio. Again alluding to the creation of the Primarchs. In the book the Emperor seems to consider Horus and the war more of a distraction/annoyance. He's singularly focused on the Webway and the greater threat of Chaos/Daemons.

Я правда не понимаю, какую книгу вы хотите получить. Про то, как блады зачищают Империум Секундус от трейторов? Да, в HH6-Retribution есть вот такая врезка Но раздувать из этого книгу? Давайте признаем, это невыносимо вторично. Тот же Калт, только блады вместо смурфов. Очередное якобы откровение про "ярость крови" и так далее по шаблону, которым блады ограничены уже 20+ лет. Серьёзно, чем тратить время вот на такое вот, пусть писатели чем-то дельным займутся.

It follows the concept of Magnus' psychic shards, from when he was broken by Russ. Many of those shards are being destroyed, or breaking down further. The primarch is losing his memories, and his powers. He's basically dying. The Thousand Sons have some idea that they can halt this slow change... - 'Ruinstorm' by David Annandale is book 45. Now that Imperium Secundus has been proven to be a folly, Sanguinius, Guilliman and the Lion are trying to find a path through the storms to Terra. Curze is also involved, but not his Legion. - 'Old Earth' by Nick Kyme is book 47. This is the final chapter for Vulkan in the Horus Heresy, looking at the destiny hinted at by the Eldar but also what his actual purpose was withiin the Imperium. He's going to be the "guardian of the gate" on Terra, but he's also got another much darker purpose - one that only he could possibly carry out, given his unique traits... and that's not necessarily a duty he wants. It also picks up the Shattered Legions arc, and the vendetta between Shadrak Meduson and Tybalt Marr. - 'Dark Compliance' is an audio drama by John French. It develops the idea of the same name, as put forward by Forge World. It shows that Horus himself doesn't necessarily need to do anything to a planet in order to crush his opponents. It follows on from 'Warmaster' but also directly from 'Vengeful Spirit'. - 'Echoes of Revelation' is an audio compilation, featuring three stories from Advent 2016. Gav Thorpe's contribution is 'Valerius', following the Therions sent by Corax to die at the Great Slaughter of Beta-Garmon. Chris Wraight's story is called 'The Soul, Severed' and features on the cover, with Eidolon and Kakophoni/Noise Marines being all warped and melty, fighting against other more wholesome looking Emperor's Children. Dan Abnett brings us the third and final story, title and content not yet revealed. - Beta-Garmon is one of the final milestones on the road to Terra. It is from the old-old background - like Paramar, a huge nexus for Great Crusade forces in decades past, and a vital route into the Segmentum Solar. Horus has to roll on through there if he wants to take Terra. - 'The Binary Succession' is an audio drama by David Annandale, and covers the founding of the Adeptus Titanicus. There is a lot of political posturing on Terra as the crisis of the war puts more pressure on the High Lords, and they are trying to send the Titan Legions to Beta-Garmon against their will, to defend from the approaching traitors. David and I joked while he was writing it that this is "Brexit with Titans"...laugh.gif - Horus knows he can't just destroy Terra, or he won't have a throne for his new Imperium. He has to take it, symbolically, and slay his father. He's going to make a big deal out of this, because it's a vital part of him being painted as a rightful liberator in the future history of mankind... (LOL) - 'Perturabo: The Hammer of Olympia' by Guy Haley follows on DIRECTLY from the scene in 'Angel Exterminatus' where the young primarch is found on the cliffs. The story also cuts back and forth with the campaign to exterminate the hrud migrations, mentioned in FW's books and also in Barabas Dantioch's backstory - the reasons why he appears so old and infirm are explained in grisly detail. Perturabo is presented as both the tortured, arrogant genius who gets no recognition, and as the "grumpy space Stalin" who punches his own warriors to death for failing him. The decimation (literally) of Olympia is covered in this book, obviously. - 'Lorgar: Bearer of the Word' by Gav Thorpe ties in with 'The First Heretic' very closely, and describes some more of the Second Purge that was hinted at in 'The Purge'. The Word Bearers are preparing to cleanse their ranks, and this brings up parallels with the original Purge on Colchis, before the coming of the Emperor. We get a real origins story for Lorgar, as a prodigious messiah under the wing of Kor Phaeron, who is very much like an abusive father. Then, by the end of the book and the planning of what will come next, he realises that Lorgar is tapping into something he can never hope to understand, and his own days are probably numbered. - Alpharius is definitely, absolutely, no takesies-backsies DEAD. No, that doesn't change a damn thing about the timeline of Warhammer 40,000, and the "historical facts" about these times are all exactly the same. Consider instead WHY they say what they say about Alpharius, and what the repercussions might be for Rogal Dorn. - In 2012 I said there were going to be "about 50" books in the series, with 'Mark of Calth' being about halfway through the timeline. That number went up a LOT when Games Workshop absorbed BL into the Studio, because of the perceived success of the series. The number has since come down again, now that BL is an independent part of the business once more. - We BL editors know exactly how many books remain before the Siege of Terra, and who is writing them. There are three new stories LEFT TO WRITE (including the Doom of the Death Guard, obviously) but a good few more already done.

Ну, там неподалёку летает Ангрон. Четвёртая книга про Кёрза в Империуме Секундус уже чересчур, мне кажется, что Абнетт с Хейли и Торпом выжали из этой темы всё до последней капли.

Vulkan's story culminates on Terra??? Narek plays his part, Nick is talking about character's destinies. Rivalries and story ends for some. Some perpetuals and cabal... Binary succession, pitched as brexit with Titans. Going back to the Adeptus Titanicus. Echoes of Revelation, a collection of short audios in audio format on its way. Horus Heresy: Dark Compliance is an audio by John French. Horus is pushing to Terra but needs to revisit planets to comply with the new Horus Perturabo primarch novel covers his growing up and home smashing his own planet :) Lorgar primarch novel - looks at the first purge before he was rediscovered by The Emperor.

Там другое интересно, Лоргар после захвата планеты говорит "Как только мы заберем свои силы и технику с поверхности Арматуры, а остатки населения будут освящены по образцу Пантеона, то двинемся к следующему миру". А через 12 часов бомбардировка. Как они собрались эвакуировать на орбиту население (там должна была остаться хотя бы пара десятков миллиончиков) за 12 часов? У Несущих Слово хорошая логистика :rolleyes: Вспомнилась проблема Плакальщиков в Коринфском Крестовом походе, когда нужно было срочно эвакуировать 3 миллиона людей, но не было ни времени, ни кораблей.

Меньше половины :rolleyes: "Раскрывающийся текст" Как минимум у Солярного флота была Глориана "Амфион" На Арматуре был миллиард солдат + титаны + эвокаты Ультрамаринов, всех вырезали 40 тысяч Несущих Слово и 70 тысяч Пожирателей Миров. Если разделить 1000000000 на 110000, то на одного предательского космодесантника пришлось бы по 9091 убитых арматурских солдат. В 30k ребята умели развлекаться.

Но настоящий Альфарий за Хоруса? Если да, то зачем он организовал на него покушение на Двелле? Про бионику Железных Рук - на Кальдере эльдары лёгким движением руки отключили им все импланты, легионеры там валялись как брёвна, ничего не могли сделать. Даже странно, что такое произошло впервые за 200 лет ВКП - любой ЭМИ-импульс и всё, финита ля комедия.

А кто-то может объяснить, с какого перепугу у Железных Рук появилась идея отрезать себе мясные руки и ставить металлические? Сам Феррус был против же (и явно их к этому не подначивал). Просто хочется посмотреть в глаза тому безумцу, которому первым пришло в голову гениальное "О-о, какие у моего примарха блестящие руки! Я тоже себе такие хочу, но как? А поставлю я себе бионику! Есть две здоровых руки? Ну и что!". Ну бред же. Одно дело - протезирование в результате несчастных случаев, совсем другое - самокалечение. С учётом очень жёстких формальных отношений внутри Легиона, даже странно, как ему по голове не надавали, чтобы вся дурь вышла.

С RG я вообще не понимаю, что происходит. Мы знаем, что их осталось 4 тысячи, Коракс их может поимённо пересчитать, все остальные мертвы, но откуда тогда столько блекшилдов и предателей? Под последними я подразумеваю не какие-то мелкие группки, а здоровые варбанды по 500 человек в среднем (конечно, не все в этих варбандах бывшие RG, но даже если взять 30%, цифры тоже приличные). Вон Хорус в Conquest напал на Ма[ну уж нет]ею вместе с двумя гранд-крейсерами отступников RG. А два гранд-крейсера - это не шутка. Сперва я думал, что это изгнанные Кораксом хищнические флоты, но вряд ли многие, они были за пределами Империума и слабо понимали, что происходит внутри (и мы даже не знаем, сколько их). А Саламандр тоже много было, в Retribution Дорн посылает на Бета-Гармон крупную группировку Саламандр с титанами. Другую крупную группировку Саламандр уничтожили блекшилды-Химеры из Герасинского Воинства.

Русс говорит Хану в финале Path of Heaven, что на Яранте намечается крупная движуха и он летит туда. И полетел. В теории ему даже Малкадор мог отдать приказ. А если нет - давайте не забывать, что тот же Малкадор слёзно просил Русса слетать сжечь Хтонию. Так вот, если бы Русс вместо Яранта полетел на Хтонию, защитникам Терры было бы легче? Русса на стене и так и так нет. Теорема Эскобара.

Ну я смотрю на ситуацию больше с точки зрения психологии и семьи. Обычно младших детей любят сильнее, чем старших. Тут новое чадо появилось, всё внимание ему, а старший? что с ним сделается? Он уже освоился, пусть себе взрослый мальчик воюет, у нас на подходе новые примархи, которых нужно учить и направлять. Но тех же поздно найденных Альфария, Ангрона, Кёрза чуть ли не игнорировали, в то время как Хорус все 200 лет наслаждался отцовским вниманием. Это как-то... странно, что ли.

"Фарос". Это можно было бы счесть бредом Кёрза, но Сангвиний в конце книги говорит Жиллиману, что зерно истины в его словах есть. "Раскрывающийся текст"– Такой хорошенький и такой тупой, ты, любимый бойцовый петушок Отца, вечно чистишь перышки в своем курятнике! А моя главная черта – чудовищность, не так ли? – резко отозвался Конрад. – Брат, мне вот что любопытно узнать. Ты из тех, кто верит, что наше рассредоточение было случайностью, или не из их числа? Я думаю, Жиллиман относится к последним. Вижу, как мысли Робаута бегают по скучным извилинам его разума, словно мышка в лабиринте, которая пытается найти иной путь наружу, но знает, что выход только один и у него поджидает кошка. Цок, цок, цок, – захихикал он, медленно шевеля в воздухе изогнутыми клинками, – коготками по стенам. – Ты пришел, чтобы спросить меня об этом? Безумец. – Я пришел, – пожал плечами Кёрз, – и спрашиваю об этом. Разве имеет значение, зачем? Ну же, Ангел. Неужели ты думаешь, что всё произошло случайно? Ответь мне. Каждый из нас был заброшен на планету, которая, как оказалось, идеально соответствует его личности – личности, созданной нашим отцом. Больше того, характеры многих сыновей Терры из наших легионов также соответствовали нравам миров, где нас нашли. И, о да, мы оба можем видеть будущее. Я склонен предполагать, что Отец читает его, как раскрытую книгу. Можешь прямо сказать мне, что веришь в случайность произошедшего? Нет? Нет ответа? – Нет, – тихо произнес Сангвиний. – Нет ответа, или «нет» в смысле «нет, я в это не верю»? – подначил Конрад. Император чуть опустил меч. Он не мог определить, почему доверяется Кёрзу, но слова уже слетали с губ Ангела, и даже при желании их не удалось бы остановить. – Нет, я не верю, что наше исчезновение было случайным. – Да, да! Видишь? – согласие брата воодушевило Ночного Призрака. – Чтобы человека, который столь долго и тщательно всё планировал, так подловили в момент триумфа? Чепуха. Поздравляю, ты на полпути к тому, чтобы узреть истину. – Что наш отец был лжецом? – Был...? – с улыбкой повторил Конрад, лишь на долю секунды наморщив бровь. – Действительно. Лжецом, и хуже того – ведь я чудовище лишь потому, что не могу быть иным, и ты ангел по той же причине.

Каким "другим"? То, что он нашёл его первым, ничего не значит. Существо такого уровня явно не будет страдать синдромом утёнка. А если учитывать теорию, что Император сознательно разбросал примархов по определённым планетам, то получается что-то вроде "Так, вот тебя я сделаю классненьким, закину на мирок неподалёку от Терры, потом найду первым и буду любить. А тебя сделаю монголом и заброшу чёрт знает куда, ты всё равно не сильно нужен".

В пламя битвы, на наковальню войны? Кстати, в ранних книгах по Ереси было вот такое вступление Как это вообще понимать? То есть другие примархи для Императора сыновьями не были? Пушечное мясо?
