Цвет клеточек на доспехах Тёмных Ангелов обозначает их ранг (у декуриона из Retribution чёрно-белые, у терминатора чёрно-красные). Но полностью раскрывать нюансы внутренней структуры Легиона Блай не будет.

Чего удивляться схожести гравитанков? Цепные мечи и те базируются на эльдарской идее, а Импи и вовсе с Эльдрадом дружбу водил (несмотря на укуренность "Зверя")

Интересно было бы глянуть на миньку примарха, который максимально старается быть неотличимым от своих легионеров. Будет шутка форджи про увеличенную на пару мм миниатюру по цене в 0,5 от цены нормального примарха. Докупи Омегона для каноничности! Со спецправилами на совместный бой близнецов, лол

Inferno

This is confirmed for the Weekender and not before. It`s currently at the printers and then needs to shipped back over to the UK so February will be the earliest release. It`s the largest book so far (by 8 pages).

Talons of the Emperor is going to be an interesting army. You are going to be able to field a whole Custodes or Sisters of Silence force or mix them together. They will have a full range of units and vehicles although many of them will be unique to this force and are not standard Imperial issue such as the wide-spread use of grav vehicles. It will also be emphasised that they are using Terran tech from the Dark Age of Technology that isn`t based on Martian technology which is more widespread through the Imperium. Little indicators are the cockpit canopies on the Custodes vehicles which are similar to the Knight canopies as they share the same technology heritage. When asked if some of this technology may appear on Dark Angels as they are the first Legion and spent some time fighting in the Unification Wars before other Astartes appeared, Bligh smiled and said “maybe…”.

They are still keeping a little tight-lipped on Inferno as to exact rules but they did say that everyone who has playtested and used the rules have said that it reflects all the forces involved. One little thing I picked up is that on the exhibition Prospero board, the VIth Legion are using a high number of Breachers. It may indicate a little bit about the changes they have to the CAL.

Custodes

These models have been in progress since just after the Weekender. FW are not producing Custodes troops but will offer resin upgrades to the plastic GW models. As well as the released grav-tank (which is horrific in its rules), they also showed the land-speeder variant and the Custodes Contemptor. There are several other vehicles being planned and currently in development. Valdor will appear but it was mentioned that they are treating him as part of the character series so Sam is probably going to design him. In terms of rules, Valdor was described as being Primarch-level so expect him to be a LoW.

Sisters are not really planned to expand as they want to see how the range is taken by the Community first and this was from both GW and FW.

Other models

Freki and Greki are awesome and capture the spirit of the narrative. As Mark Bedford mentioned, “they need to be larger than the Thunder Wolves otherwise people will buy the plastic”. The designer was successful as they dwarf marines and make terminators uncomfortable. Alongside Russ they scale perfectly.

Mark Bedford had been stolen by Specialist Games to work on Bloodbowl for a while but he is now back at working on HH bits. His focus: Dark Mechanicum. Mark wouldn`t be drawn on exactly what he is doing but characters with scorpion legs were mentioned…

Future FW projects

The next project is the completion of Fires of Cyraxus as FW are aware they haven`t done much for standard 40k for a while and this is an opportunity for them to port the 30k range into mainstream 40k. This project is mostly complete and should be available by the Summer.

Book 8 is most likely going to be Signis with BA and a new campaign for the DA. It wasn`t mentioned as being Thramas but neither was it ruled out. Either way, the two focus legions are likely to be BA and DA. Mars is still a future project and not linked to a defined book (yet).

Specialist Games

Very little news here as none of the SG department were around as this was a 40k Open Day. The only little comment was from Jes Goodwin who mentioned that he has passed over all of his Necromunda material to the SG team so that`s a possibility that following Adeptus Titanicus, Necro. will be the next game. No BFG material has been requested yet, sadly.

Вообще тоже сразу подумал про эльдар, но действительо общего с ними немного (даже изгиб в другую сторону), больше общего с классическими леталками маров типа Тандерхока или БладРейвена, очень похож силуат в бок (яжёлый нос, узнакая середина). Ну и как выше отмечалось похож на грав-спидер и грав-байк ереси.

As legions evolve, the rites will change. For example, at Prospero, the SW are a standard legion fundamentally, sure thy have some specalist units and a propensity for close combat, but are still a crusade legion. Runes are painted on to armour, wolf pelts are not commonly worn, however Events, first at prospero and then at Yarrant will change them. The "Wolf Cull"... Alan has toyed with me and Drake Seta dropping this before.
