It will come in 2 versions:

First - 215 points

One - assault transport with TL hell frost cannon

Two fire modes:

- s6 ap3, blast, then it forces a Str test. If the test is failed, the enemy dies

- s8 ap1 , heavy 1 - rest is the same

16 models capacity

Heavy Bolters with MMelta or Skyhammer Option

Second: 220 points

6 models capacity

Hell frost cannon (the same as above)

Storm Strike missile

Both flyers have Machine Spirit and Ceramite plating.

The model will cost as much as a storm raven.

As Drake stated earlier - it seems that Games Day is no more!

To confirm this I have the following information:

Warhammer Fest will be a 2 day event covering the 11th and 12th of October!!

The usual will be there - Forge World, Black Library and Golden Daemon.

There will be a massive variety of seminars and events; you will need to go both days to do it all!!

Tickets are Ј20 each day!

Golden Daemon will be on display on the Sunday!

It will be a smaller event at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry!

You can go just the one day and pick and choose your seminars or go both days - like me!! Lol

Space Wolves rejoice as the rumors of a new Space Wolf Gunship are in, and this time they are verified. This flyer is a beast, similar to a Stormraven in armour and special rules.

The Stormfang Gunship has the look of half of a Caestus Assault Ram, and is on the cover of next week's White Dwarf. The previous rumors really list out its abilities well. It comes with a Helfrost Destructor, two twin-linked heavy bolters, two stormstrike missiles and ceramite plating, with power of the machine spirit.

Heavy bolter upgrades to skyhammer missile launcher or two twin linked multi-meltas

stormstrike missiles can be upgraded to a twin linked lascannon.

Helfrost Destructor

Dispersed 24" S6 AP3 Hvy1, Helfrost, Large Blast

Focused 24" S8 AP1, Hvy1, Helfrost, Lance

Stormstrike Missile 72" S8 AP2 hvy1 Concussive one shot only

Your information on space wolves main units is a bit off.

Grey Hunters are not cheaper, they are still 15/model.

They come with Bolter, Bolt Pistol, grenades, ATSKNF, Counter Attack and Acute Senses.

They can have one model upgraded to a Wolf Guard, for +10 points, who gets +1Ld/attack and access to wargear. (Same as veteran sergeants, except that if not taken, there isn't a "character" in the unit the way normal sergeants are).

They can take 1 special weapon, or 2 at 10 man. They are limited only to special weapons and not heavy as per normal. They pay the same points as space marines now, not a discount and not a free one at 10.

They can also take plasma pistols at 1 per 5 in addition to special weapons.

They can swap their bolter for a chainsword at no cost, on a model-by-model basis, and it specifies that it must also be represented on the model.

Wolf banners are still in, but aren't as good and cost 15 points not 10.

Bloodclaws are 13 points per model, minimum 5 up to 20. Similar as above for upgrades. Unlike what's in stormclaw, if you upgrade a Bloodclaw to a Wolf Guard he gets +1 WS and BS (to take him to 4/4). They have rage now instead of their former +d3 attacks on the charge.

Wolf Guard terminators are now an entry, as are Wolf Guard non terminators, so no mixing and matching. No more pack leader separating of Wolf Guard to join other squads. Just upgrades in unit.

While I'm sure that a lot of people will be flipping over the loss of certain iconic character elements for space wolves, the new stuff in the book isn't just "Wolf This" "Wolf That" and they still remain sufficiently divergent from normal marines, with points costs that are now in line with them. Though I won't deny that they definitely were toned down in a lot of ways (that they weren't really overpowered in by any real means) they have been compensated for by gaining access to things like space marine AA tanks, a new flyer and some really nifty formations.

What stuck with me from the seminars;

+ As my friend said, the GW staff talked like teachers for the most part. When a kid asked about the new IG codex being ‘nerfed’, the conversation ended with “Did you like the new Codex overall?” “Yes.” “Yay!”. That was cheap but it would tie in with marketing towards kids. And by George, where do these kids get there money from?

+ Bugman’s Bar was better than I expected. There was no discount at the GW stores for the day (missed opportunity).

+ Astra Militarum and Imperial Guard are the same thing; it was a change to bring the IG in under a gothic name like other Imperium factions.

+ As a general principle, GW will not have models in a codex that they no longer sell a model for.

+ Forge World and GW studio act independently and catch-up to share ideas/pass on new rules. Forge World are able to act more reactionary and at a quicker pace.

+ People like the new Psychic phase.

+ Phil Kelly would like to see a Sisters vs Eldar supplement; this was a personal idea when asked what he’d like to see if he could do anything.

+ Supplements will become more popular and replace the typical ‘new codex & new units’ cycle (though this will still happen when the time’s right). The supplements enable GW to add brand new units at a faster pace to armies without complete Codex rewrites or waiting for the conveyor belt to come round. There was a strong hint at something Sisters related in the future in this regards.

+ Someone asked if there would be a compendium of supplements/formations/datasheets eventually. They said they hadn’t considered it but it was a cool idea should the opportunity arise.

+ People and GW like Unbound. Comments of ‘reminds me of 2nd’ were not uncommon.

+ When asked if Unbound was permitted at tournaments, GW said that’s up to each tournament organiser to decide.

+ When asked about the idea of a system that lets you build your own HQ character, GW said they leave this up to the the player to create and discuss with friends. Internally, they’ve created personal characters. It was a cop out answer as it was a great suggestion.

+ 41k won’t happen.

+ Concept artists/sculptors come up with the models, the studio then write the rules to match.

+ The studio has been playing Kill Team recently.

+ They like Lords of War - big robots fighting big monsters.

+ They admit they’ve yet to crack how to do social media well; they are looking into it.

+ They talked about an idea Jervis has had of a gameplay supplement. This could cover concepts such as roleplay narratives, campaigns, leagues, tournaments, etc.

+ The studio said that from experience, people talk to them at events etc about the new models, story and painting. Rules is something they rarely ever get asked in person. They openly said - perhaps unintentionally - that at the Open Day no one was asking about rules, only models. And to them this made it seem like models come first, rules second. Though, of course, rules should still be good.

+ No specialist games. Focusing on core ranges.

+ They tried killing off main army characters and felt it didn’t work. They won’t be doing it again.

+ One of guys - whose name escapes me - really likes Tau and the Riptide. I think he wrote the rules. Phil Kelly later made a interesting side note by mentioning that the Riptide was a stepping stone in big robots when talking about the Titans. As technology progresses they hope to continue exploring giant robots and monsters; they love the concept of them stomping through cities.

+ They have a playtest team of about a dozen (a mix of tournament/casual players). This doesn’t include the core GW team playing too. Not all the playtest team may be testing the same thing at the same time.

+ GW strongly encourages people to approach them face-to-face at these events and ask them questions. Next time I’m going to take all the rule questions I have.

+ If people enjoyed the Open Day format they’d like to do it again.

+ When asked about the possibility of a new race they said yes.

+ A guy asked if Dark Eldar would ever get better armour than cardboard. The answer was no, it was part of what made them unique. Like having no tanks. Plus Orks only have t-shirts for armour.

A user of the main french warhammer forum (http://www.warhammer-forum.com/index.php?showtopic=221485&st=0) who bought the digital edition of the SW codex today reported that this new digital codex include a brand new army list builder app. But, what interest us, is that he also said that he was able to see in this new tool a different GK army list than the current one, maybe from the upcoming dex (due to a bug).
