  6. Retribution Beta Patch 3.3 Beta 3.3 fixes The Lord Commissar’s Inspire Terror no longer instantly kills squad members. It now does 300 damage to an entity. Tooltip revised. Imperial Guard base turrets no longer contribute 5 population to the upkeep of the IG army. Fixed an issue that could cause users to be awarded 3000 skill rating after a single game.
  7. Everyone who participates in the beta will retain their army ranks. If you start at Tyranid army rank 1 and get to rank 16 in the beta, when the game goes live you will have the option to retain that rank. Your wins, losses and skill rating will all be reset. The Beta will offer you the option of importing your army ranks from Chaos Rising. Once in the Beta and new ranks that you earn will be saved and can be imported to the retail version of Retribution.
  8. Hey guys, The beta is sitting at just under 4gb right now. We're doing everything we can to keep the size down but 6 races = big game. All of the ranked stats will be reset at the end of the beta, but your army points for visual unlocks will carry forward using the same technology that we used to carry them forward from Chaos Rising. Unfortunately you will have to re-download the retail game after the beta has closed.

DoW2: Retribution adds a new hero and a brutal map to Last Stand http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/01/20/dow2-ret...p-to-last-stand :ork-shocked: The first three or four waves of the original map were warmups, and could be survived with barely any player action at all. But in several attempts, I never made it past the fourth wave of the new volcanic-themed map. To be fair, I was playing with the new Lord General, a fragile finesse hero that relies on summoned reinforcements and deployable turrets who I’m a long way from mastering, and I was playing with only one human ally and an AI stand-in (a testing feature that won’t be in the final product) but the first waves of Tyranids, Eldar and Imperial Guard knocked me around badly. The first IG trooper grenade volley took me down to half health and sent me scurrying around the map, trying to keep my summoned Guardsmen alive long enough to do damage while taking potshots with my sniper rifle. After failing badly, I swapped out my sniper gear for a saber in the next round…but neglected to swap out my armor for something more suited to a melee fighter and was quickly cut down.

  11. Хм, где такое было?.. Вроде же про штурмовиков почти нет инфы кромке этого: "Elite ranged infantry equipped with hot shot lasguns. Storm Troopers can be upgraded to fulfill different roles. 400 реквы / 15 популяции / 29 сек. на производство". Вот у Катачанских Дьяволов инвиз по типу генокрадов.
  12. У гварды, огринов и ХВТ :ork-shoota: гранат нет точно, у Катачанских Дьяволов оглушающие, а вот насчёт штурмовиков пока-что всё тёмно.

  14. На T1 3 Sonic Blasters, на Т2 одному можно выдать Blastmaster. Не удивлюсь если у него будет тип повреждений plasma cannon.
  15. Кхорн-хавоки вообще очень спорный юнит, а это будут реально плазма-девы.

Have you planned this arc, or is it a per title basis? A: It is written on a per title basis. Ruined said that the key with Retribution is that they wanted to tie off as many plot points as possible. I believe one of the elder heroes is related to Taldeer, and not only does it look like Gabe will face the Maeldictem, but Kyras will also be absolved (judging from the behaviour change of diomedes and his flat out refusal to betray the chapter. Q: How do the super units function with the old maps (pathing)? A: They are ok. They obviously have a lot of problems with blockers, such as buildings, generators, etc. They crush pretty much everything and move very, very slowly however. Q: How does chaos play now they have a new tier 1 unit? What is the incentive for going to tier 3? A: I confess, I did not play Chaos. There is no new change to any of the Chaos tier 3 that I was aware of – I was under the impression that a good deal of the game remains unchanges. Balance changes are hard to notice without a change log, and Q: Is the Autarch war gear persistent? A: Gorb needs to answer this :P I believe so. Q: How tough are the new super units? And what’s the deal with them being the main focus? A: Land raider has 3500HP, the Battlewagon 3500HP (I think, that’s from memory) and the baneblade has 4200. I do not know the Tyranid details – Edtjuh might post them somewhere, but I didn’t get a change to play with nids. Q: What are the changes to the Army Painter? Will you consider adding rank unlocks? A: You see a wide selection of new units. Covered above. Q: Are any more classic DOW maps coming back for DoW2? A: None are being made, and there are no plans, but this always remains a possibility! Q: Does your last played commander appear on the front end? A: No. While this is highly requested, the amount of work required (3 months of somebody’s time) would of impacted campaign/other features. They know it’s really requested, but they can’t justify the cost. The main reason is that you need new, uprezzed textures – something that takes a lot of time! Q: How many people do we need to *insert action here* to get a Chaplain? A: Ruined. He wants a Chaplain too. But I guess he doesn’t work at Relic :P Q: Any new gameplay features? Chaos rising added a lot of stuff! A: There are no particularly new features that I noticed – the game plays pretty similar, except the obvious switch to steam (which should result in some greatly improved stability) and addition of the imperial guard and new units. Q: Are there any vehicle changes? A: No. Q: Has the AI been or is it going to be overhauled? A: No. Q: Will there be DLC in the near future aside from the preorder wargear packs? A: There has been none announced. Wargear price is still being negotiated – I’d expect it at around £3 a pack, BUT THAT IS NOT OFFICIAL THAT IS MY GUESS DON’T HURT ME. Q: Is the Ancient Boreale? A: No answer. Is it the traitor? No idea. I believe it was mentioned that we find out the canon traitor at the end? Jeff Lydell was particularly tight lipped on this one – he doesn’t like spoilers, unlike Gorb Q: Will Space Marines be forced to fight Imperial Guard and vice versa, ala Dark Crusade and Soulstorm, or will it be in keeping with the lore and they will be allies? A: There are traitor guard (the 188th Xenobane or something) who send a Baneblade after you in the campaign, and the little of the game I played indicates there’s a shit ton of infighting. Basically, the whole place is consumed by the warp – and the Space Marine leadership stands divided. Diomedes’ kills a large chunk of space marines at one point for trying to level Calderis, and the biggest answer I got at the end of the mission is that they “answer to a higher power”. There are plenty of reasons for infighting at this point. Q: When will FooF be arriving at the airport for the community event, and will he be getting there in your THQ Rhino? A: Unfortunately, there was no FooF; this was the only disappointment of the day.   19. Блин, точно, но рация не добавляется и с комиссаром... Варианты: либо это только в кампании (скрин из неё), либо это всё-таки третья приблуда генерала в МП, дающая гварде какой-то бонус (в кампании она тоже может быть как Commander Item)
  20. Это сержи ИГ (85 реквы, 6 популяции, 15 сек. на производство) Описание: добавить сержанта который расширяет отряд на 2 гвардейца и предоставляет дополнительного гвардейца бесплатно всякий раз, когда один реинфорсится.
