I've just had a chat with Steve Whitehead who is in the process of sculpting a K'Daai Destroyer.

He is doing this in his free time as a Freelance piece he expects to finish it in a couple of months but doesn't think we'll see it for sale for at least 6 months.

He seems to be extremely enthusiastic about the project and was genuinely pleased to talk about it. He did say that there are no Hobgoblins in the pipeline as things stand right now but did talk about a conversion he's seen with a skaven stormvermin on the back of the new wolves and suggested that would be a great place to start from. Now I wonder where he got that idea Happy

Edgar has finished the Fireborn and is working on the Bull Centaurs which are a lot bulkier and more "bull like" than the current incarnation also about 6 months away.

Once these three releases are complete this will be it for Chaos Dwarfs for quite a while as the staff move on to other projects

I can't remember who asked but I also had a chat with Tamila Fox about the unused CD background. She said she doesn't have it as she is currently working on the next book The Battle of Black Fire Pass (Orcs, Dwarfs and Empire)

It may help your empire army. And yes I know about the forgeworld against the gw line of products but if accepted by your opponent or in tournament…..

The book is based on the 3rd battle for blackfire pass, so there is definitely no Sigmar model. I had a good chat with Talima Fox about the story, An Orc Waaagh through Blackfire Pass, With a heavy involvement of Dwarves of course Averland Empire.

Marius Leitdorf is likely to feature though in the story as he's such a great character which Talima agreed also Averland is just a stone's throw away from The Moot, So you never know there could be some Halflings in there too.

She also said as The Empire have such a good range of models, WF are likely to concentrate on large models and new characters, as they did with Tamurkhan.

the whole design team seem to be quite excited about designing stuff for dwarves in particular.

Oh and when talking about the Greenskins she mentioned Night Gobbos, forest Gobbos and of course Orcs

Vogon с Chaos Dwarf online передаёт:

Steve Whitehead is at Games Day with his Destroyer.

In the absence of pictures for now I will say that it is comparable in size to a stone horn. There will be a degree of posability and there are optional helmets which fit over a sculpted face.

There is more creature and less flame than the fireborn.

He reckons about a month mire work the released by Christmas
