Khorne: Crusade of Gore
Battle frenzy
When choosing Crusade of Gore detachment, units of Khorne Berzerkers are troops choices instead of elites choices.
Furthermore, only next units from Codex: Chaos Space Marines may be chosen in Crusade of Gore detachment: Kharn The Betrayer, Chaos Lord, Daemon Prince, Khorne Berzerkers, Chaos Space Marines, Chaos Cultists, Chosen, Chaos Terminators, Helbrute, Possessed, Mutilators, Chaos Rhino, Chaos Bikers, Raptors, Warp Talons, Chaos Spawn, Heldrake, Defiler, Forgefiend, Maulerfiend, Chaos Land Raider, Chaos Vindicator, Chaos Predator
Minions of The Khorne:
Up to 2 Chaos Lords may be taken in a single HQ slot in a Crusade of Gore detachment. Every model must take Mark of Khorne if possible. Furthermore, Mark of Khorne cost increased by +4 points and adds +1WS, Furios Charge and Grace of Blood special rules.
Grace of Blood
If a unit that contains at least one model with this special rule wins a close combat, you may take leadership test. If it succeed you may role futher d6. On a role of 1-3 place a unit of d6 Bloodletters from Codex:Chaos Daemons anywere in 6" of a unit. On a role of 4-5 place a unit of d3 Bloodcrushers from Codex:Chaos Daemons anywere in 6" of a unit. On a role of 6 place Bloodthirster anywere in 6" of a unit. If you cannot place this models they are count as destroyed.
Crusade of Gore relics
Any character in your Crusade of Gore detachment that can select Chaos Artefacts cannot select from those listed in Codex:Chaos Space Marines, but can instead select from Crusade of Gore list at the points costs shown.
Allies
In addition to following the Allies Matrix for Codex: Chaos Space Marines, Crusade of Gore detachment may ally Codex:Chaos Space Marines, treating each other as Allies of Convenience
Warlord Traits
When generating Warlord Trait, Crusade of Gore warlord may either roll on one of the Warlord Traits tables in the Warhammer 40000 rulebook, or roll on the table listed below.
DESIGNER'S NOTE
Some rules in this book provide Preferred Enemy or Hatred (Space Marines). The category 'Space Marines' comprises all units taken from the following codexes: Space Marines, Black Templars, Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Grey Knights and Space Wolves.
Warlord Traits Table
1. Hatred Incarnate: The intense animosity that festers in this Warlord's soul spills out into those around him.
The Warlord and his unit have the Hatred special rule.
2. Souleater: This Warlord's bloodlust burns so fiercely that his weapons are able to eat a soul of his victim.
If Warlord strike his attacks in Melle, every To Wound rolls of 6 have Instant Death special rule.
3. Champion of Khorne: Favoured amongst the Dark Gods, this Warlord is bequeathed the most powerful rewards from the Khorne.
The Warlord may re-roll his rolls on the Chaos Boon table, including any rolls he makes before the game begins as a result of the Gift of Mutation.
4. Black Crusader: This Warlord has sworn never to rest in his eternal vendetta against his loyalist foes.
The Warlord and all friendly units within 12" of the Warlord have the Preferred Enemy (Space Marines) special rule (see designer's note above).
5. Meteoric Charge: Whenever Warlord charges he gets the momentum of steel bull.
Warlord have Hammer of Wraith special rule. If warlord already have Hammer of Wraith special rule, it become Hammer of Wraith (D3) special rule.
6. Witch-eater: Warlord generates an aura of retaliation against warp-spawned powers.
Warlord and his unit have Adamantium Will special rule.
Crusade of Gore’ relics
Berserker Glaive - 35 pts
The Berserker Glaive contains the bound essence of a Bloodletter, which has been driven truly insane by its captivity, forcing the bearer to constantly fight with it to remain in control. The Glaive transfers this rage to the wielder, who is automatically gripped with "blood frenzy," granting them great strength and resilience. However the weapon has no concern over whose life is taken, including any allies and even the wielders themselves, as long as the blood flows in the name of Khorne.
Range:- S:+1 Ap:2 Type:Melee, Khorne Daemon Weapon
Khorne Daemon Weapon - Weapon with this rule is a Daemon Weapon, but on a roll of 1 instead of any effects, model strike its attacks against friendly models in a 3". If there is no friendly model in 3" model must attack itself.
Bloodfeeder - 25 pts
These weapons often taking the form of an axe, the Bloodfeeder contains the bound essence of a raging loodthirster.
Range:- S:Use Ap:3 Type:Melee, Daemon Weapon, Rampage
Praise of Khorne * - 45 pts
This praise increases the chance that champion's armour deflects hits from him.
Praise of Khorne confers a 2+ Armour Save. For each armour save model passes during the Fight sub-phase, the unit (or model, if he is in a challenge) that caused the Wound immediately suffers a Strength 3 AP- hit with the Ignores
Cover special rule.
Rage of Khorne * - 30 pts
These Chaos imbues such a desire for combat in its bearer that his rage builds and builds before exploding out in the first combat encounter.
Model doubles its attack characteristics, but lose Independent Character special rule if it has one.
