None of the Forgeworld suits will be in the new Tau codex. There are two new suits, however and the crisis and broadsides are both being redone and are very distinct from one another. The hazard suits will remain as a Forgeworld supplement and are even referenced in the fluff in a few places. They're just non-standard issue and still considered in prototype for various reasons. The Kroot hq replaces the 1+ requirement on fire warriors with a Kroot unit. And the book is finished. Has been for a while.

Necrons get 3 new characters and a new flyer. Which is a bomber-type on a night scythe chasis. Added On The canoptek acanthrites are also in IA 12, as well as the tomb stalker. But since those are already on the website I didn't mention it.

- Autarchs take Paths. These represent completed paths they have walked and are tied to the various aspects. By taking a path you make the respective aspect warrior a troop choice (the exception are reapers who just become scoring) - Overall point cost reduction (guardians see it the most, aspect warriors see it the least, but are instead a fair margin better with only a minor cost decrease for two of the schools). - new special rule that influence how howling banshees interact in combat. It's current iteration really makes them feel like glass cannons that are amazing at what they're designed to do. -Seer councils have brotherhood of psykers (the farseers still cast their own abilities in addition, but two farseers together cast more than 2 farseers separately) - in general, aspect warriors are hyper focused and hyper successful if used properly - No new aspect - 2 new flyers - lots of units get access to skyfire - new tank (on falcon chasis) - Avatar is buffed a lot - Two new special characters - exarchs are all really good in duels in different ways - farseers are still awesome psykers - warlocks improve deny the witch. - falcon/wave serpent point reduction - way to make some of the craftworld specific lists - additional rules for allying with dark eldar - expanded fluff on the war in heaven

set warlord abilities: skarbrand : the warlord has instant death on all CC attacks. kairos : as long as the warlord is alive you can reroll on the warpstrom table ku'gath : all daemons within 12" of the warlord may reroll instability tests chaos icons count as homers for units of the same god. units of other gods only scatter d6 they also add +1 to the close combat result. doesnt matter if you had a draw or lost.. always +1 instruments let you deepstrike another unit of the same god with you (like stormtalon special rule) also they let you reroll the 6's on the warpstorm table of opposing gods if you play multiple gods. for example: unit of bloodletters with instrument. you got the warpstrom result khornes wrath wich hits your daemonettes coz you rolled a 6. you may reroll the dice thanks to the instrument The Slaanesh stuff can completely boost or take away skill and initiative, you can upgrade a Herald to make her unit I9? Combine it with the Khornate Skull Cannon to give your daemonette's pseudo grenades, and you're golden. Bloodcrushers are faster, more wounds, but no EW or armor. Might be risky to play. Fiends drop enemy initiative now, but have less attacks, they should probably be combined with Daemonettes for maximum effect. Flamers are nerfed sadly, if they are only a "light infantry killer" now instead of an "everything killer." Flamer Chariot has AP3 Torrent for 100 points, you guys sure GW still loves only marines? Epidemius is nerfed. Kairos is a lot different but still reasonably fluff-accurate. Skarbrand might be more affordable. Skulltaker is still a boss, did he really lose his decapitation move on a 4+? Is it only on a 6 now? At least he kept EW. Skulltaker gives his unit Adamantium Will, so stick him on a Juggernaut and attach him to the now multi-wound Flesh Hounds to have a super-deathstar that Denies the Witch on a 3+. The Herald 'Loci' are as follows (the first tier is 10 points, the second tier is 20 points, the third tier is 25 points); Khorne Herald Locus 1: Adamantium Will for the Herald and its unit. Locus 2: Rage for the Herald and its unit. (Ergo I am pretty sure Daemon of Khorne is still Furious Charge, not Rage and re-roll charge distance as rumoured) Locus 3: Hatred (Everything!) for the herald and its unit. Nurgle Herald Locus 1: Poisoned (+2) melee attacks for the Herald and its unit. Locus 2: Feel No Pain for the Herald and its unit. Locus 3: Every 6 to hit in melee made by the Herald and its unit generates an additional S4 AP- Poisoned (+4) attack that I believe hits automatically (not sure, might be roll to hit as normal). Tzeentch Herald Locus 1: For each Blue Horror marker that would be placed from the Heralds' unit, instead place D3 markers. Locus 2: Roll a D6 at the start of each turn; the result is a bonus to the Herald and the units' Strength value. Locus 3: Psychic powers cast by the Herald and its unit treat their Strength value as +1. Slaanesh Herald Locus 1: The Herald and its unit gain the Move Through Cover special rule. Locus 2 (3? misinterpreted maybe): The Herald and its unit treat their Initiative value as +5 (yep, I know). Locus 3 (2?): The Herald and its unit re-roll failed to-hit rolls in melee. The Herald must issue and accept challenges, but may pick which enemy model to fight the challenge with if their opponent accepts or declares a challenge.
