  1. (1) = 6: nice weathering and effect, but a little too reliant on heavy weathering, and I see very little depth and shading. With a little more contrast, this one could dramatically raise its score. (2) = 4: Clean lines, but very basic. Is he running across a locker room shower? (3) = 6: Looks good, but paint job is too reliant on heavy weathering to see the paint job. (4) = 3: GK-dry brushing overload. (5) = 4: Pointy Sticks are awsome, but paint is a bit thick...however the lines are relatively clean. (6) = 7: Metallics galore...this one's either really good, or really bad...hard to tell. (7) = 4: Paint is smooth, but no definition. (8) = 8: Very attractive mini, smooth paint, very eye catching. However, it lacks contrast. Is the pattern weathering, or a design? (9) = 5: Good from far, but nipped bolter, and rough blending lets this one down. (10) = 7: Split scheme, and color choice is excellent, would have been a high 8 if not for the lack of paint on the bottom of the foot. (11) = 9: Visually interesting mini, great zenithal lighting, effective conversion, great blends, but the lack of a back-pack is vexing. (12) = 2: Painting lacks any definition...the only good thing is the mini is in pain. I know I am. (13) = 6: Visually interesting, but thick paint, and lack of definition drop the score. (14) = 3: What am I looking at? Too dark, and no highlights. (15) = 2: Again...what am I looking at? Bad picture let this model down. (16) = 8: Great blending, pose, and base, but the face sucks, along with the armpit. If you're going to stretch out an arm, make it look right. The score would have been higher with the regular arm, and a face painted to the standard of the rest of the model. (17) = 9: Here we go, nice mode! The black is subtle, and the metallics are very good. Perhaps some nuance tones in the metals would bring this to a 10. The position of the legs looks a bit odd, but overall a very nice mini. Freehand is excellent. (18) = 2: No thanks (19) = 7: Very good; the weathering is just right, the paint is smooth, and seamless...but the paint lacks contrast and definition. The rough lines on the base are a bit distracting, but overall it's a very nice mini. (20) = 5: Nice split scheme, but the painting is very thick, and the blending is poor. (21) = 6: Another one with so much weathering and corrosion, it's hard to tell if the painter is supremely talented, or a 4 year old. The accent color choices make my eyes bleed. (22) = 3: Thick paint, no contrast, but classic color choice. (23) = 8: Great NMM GK. Blends could be smoother, and the use of true black and the lack of nuances make it a bit on the drab side...but overall very nice. (24) = 4: This is a "rank-and-file" Marine? THe wings, and multiple terminator honors symbols would suggest otherwise. The painting isn't so grand, either.
