Серия Space marine battles

Не знаю как вам, а мне очень нравится эта серия тем, что она очень легко читается почти всегда. Никаких супер-серьезных интриг, поменьше наркомании чем в Ереси, абсолютно низкая художественная ценность - самое то читать перед сном или сидя в какой-нибудь очереди или транспорте.

Ну и обложки. Они почти всегда просто ШИКАРНЫ

Про разные книги уже целая куча, также есть и "Общая" тема, но обсуждение одной книги обычно занимает 2-3 страницы и как-то мало смысла плодить темы, но в некоторых книгах все равно бывает, что обсудить.

А "общая тема" очень старая и пустая, поэтому пришло в голову создать эту.

Нашел даже две старых темы, но уж очень они старые...

Мне кажется было бы удобно писать о каких-то своих положительных и отрицательных впечатлениях, также как и о новинках, чтобы по запросу про серию "...battles" можно было найти максимум полезной информации.

Надеюсь ничего не пропустил и не перепутал. Дальше все книги, которые я нашел, что выходили с какими-то небольшими личными впечатлениями.

По-моему лучшая книга серии, даже нечего добавить.

Читается приятно и интересно. Впрочем у АДБ все так. Не зацепило как Хельсрич.

Хуже быть не может.Написано плохо, нового бека ноль, разве что обложка хорошая.

История Багровых Кулаков, разрушение крепости-монастыря и битва за Мир Ринна.

Вполне нормально. Только момент в книге когда написано что Педро Кантор кричал "Алексис!Алексис!" это просто что-то.

Вообще книга про орден-наследник Имперских Кулаков, который называется Excoriators и их защиту мира Certus Minor от Пожирателей Миров. Но Легион проклятых в ней играет важную роль, хоть и написано про них там мало.

С другой стороны, должны же они оставаться таинственными.

Три рассказа из четырех так или иначе посвящены махинациями Каироса Судьбоплета (в переводе же так!).

Первый и последний напрямую связаны между собой, другие два видимо как-то можно притянуть.

В целом - вполне хорошо.

Не знаю кто такой этот Дариус Хинкс, но его рассказ - один из моих любимых рассказов по вселенной вообще.

Книга о Черных Драконах у которых сразу несколько конфликтов - внутренний, с хаоситами и с инквизицией. Книга оригинальностью не отличается, хотя местами градус наркомании весьма высок.

С другой стороны, оригинальностью Аннандейл не блещет. Но мне почему-то нравится как он пишет.

Я бы поставил эту книгу на второе место после Хельсрича. Очень понравилась.

По требованию Механикус Новадесантники и Кровопийцы отправляются на спейс халк на поиски того-не-знают-чего. С парой интересных сюжетных поворотов.

Да и автор буквально сегодня(на момент создания темы конечно) удостоился похвалы от той самой, главной прекрасной дамы форума..хах

Три рассказа от Аннандейла, посвященные планете Лепидус Прайм и трем орденам космодесанта, присланных изгнать орков - Белым Шрамам, Гвардии Ворона и Саламандрам.

В общем читается нормально, но в конце Теневого Капитана оказывается, что орки стали сильнее и умнее от того, что к ним взывает Аватар эльдар, который потерял всё общее с собственно эльдарами и взывает к "самой любящей войну расе - оркам".. Мне кажется, или это что-то такое, упоротое?

Книга о Черных Драконах у которых сразу несколько конфликтов - внутренний, с хаоситами и с инквизицией. Книга оригинальностью не отличается, хотя местами градус наркомании весьма высок.

С другой стороны, оригинальностью Аннандейл не блещет. Но мне почему-то нравится как он пишет.

Онандейл самый упоротый наркоман среди БЛ. Ни Абнетт, ни Сандерс даже близко не опускались до такого. Когда он посмотрел в бездну, бездна моргнула.

Я не представляю, какими веществами надо упарываться, чтобы писать подобное.

А если найти страничку этого рассказа на самом сайте БЛ (линк), то никакого упоминания о "SM Battles" вы там не увидите.

Gildar Rift (Гильдарский Разлом) на редкость унылое чтиво. Это верно. Впрочем, читал не в оригинале. Перевод на русский тоже не порадовал. Собственно, купил просто как источник бэка по Красным Корсарам.

По Волку Фенриса заодно выяснились интересные подробности. Посмеялся над библиариями Серебрянных Черепов, которые, как заправские цыганки, по картам будущее капитанам ордена предсказывают. Вообще, занятные ребята эти Серебрянные Черепа.... Но как литературное произведение книга конечно УГ :(

Тащемта тогда вообще вся десантура - цыганки. И даже весь Империум, даже Аллах. ) Гадание по Таро штука распространенная. Крайний раз видел в тексте, когда перечитывал "Мир Ринна". Например.

По "Очищению Кадиллуса" согласен с впечатлениями. Как-то местечково. Скауты и СМ дохнут непафосно, словно простые гвардейцы. Нет ощущения, что угроза орков велика и необъятна, скорее, впечатление, что ТА и СПО - унылое говно с брусникой. Никакого напряжения и страшной угрозы потери системы тоже не ощущается. Даже война Каина против орков читалась интересней, живее, человечней, что-ли.
