Добрый вечер. Сегодня в очередной раз читал разную информацию по любимой вселенной и нашел упоминание о халфлингах (хоббиты по простому :D ).

Информации крайне мало. Вот то, что нарыл :

An area in the fictional Warhammer Fantasy setting, the Moot is the homeland of the Halfling race and part of the Empire.

The moot is mostly farm land and produces much of the food for the Empire. The leader of the moot is the Halfling's representative in the electoral college that selects the Emperor.

History

The moot was decimated by the orc warlord Gorbad Ironclaw and his armies. The Great Hafling Uprising occurred some years before the reign of Karl Franz (the current Emperor) and was mercilessly crushed by the crazed Elector Count of Stirland from a neighbouring province. On a lighter note the inhabitants of the moot are the Halfing race, who enjoy good food over anything else. They are known for their skill with a bow and notable valour in combat when the food stocks are under attack.

Halflings are possibly based on the Hobbits from Tolkiens work, and the moot is described much like the Shire.

Мут - родина халфлингов и часть Империи.

Основную территорию Мут(а) ( не знаю правильно ли склонять) занимают фермы, на которых производится большой объем продовольствия для Империи. Лидер Мут является представителем халфлингов в институте выборов Императора (криво как-то, но не знаю как лучше)

История.

Мут был разорен армиями орочьего лорда Горбада Железная Клешня.

Великое восстание халфлингов, которое вспыхнуло за несколько лет до начала правления Карла Франца (действующего Императора) было безжалостно подавлено сошедшим с ума Графом Стирланда из соседней провинции.

Обитателями Мут является раса халфлингов, которые всему остальному предпочитают хорошую трапезу. Они известны своим искусным обращением с луком и доблестью в бою, когда запасы пищи оказываются под угрозой.

Заранее извиняюсь за некоторую кривизну перевода. Из-за отсутствия времени не мог отшлифовать.

В 1000 Людвиг Толстый издал королевский указ, который даровал хоббитам часть Стирланда, Мут. Хоббитам также была дарована административная автономия и имперский голос; старейшина хоббитов считается курфюрстом.

Больше информации не нашел, но горю желанием узнать еще что-нибудь про этих забавных ребят. Если у кого-нибудь есть еще информация то срочно добавляйте :)

Большое спасибо и извиняюсь за то, что сам не нашел.

А в плане миниатюр ? Если есть ссылки на источники с миньками то кидайте.

halflings are a small bur dexterous race who look like Humans children to the untrained eye. The fact that they cannot grow bears only reinforces this impression. Although they tend to be pot-bellied, since they eat twice as often as any other rise, they are capable of grear stealth. When combined with their well known skill with the sling, Halflings can prove to be surprisingly stubborn opponents. They are, however, largely a peaceful people, content to farm, eat, and smoke pipe weed. They are proud of their families and all Halflings can recire their family lineage back ten generation or more.

Most Halflings are homebodies. They enjoy peace and quier and want nothing more than to be left alone to enjoy good food and a good smoke. There are, however, a small number of Halflings who find the Moot intolerably boring. When the most exciting event of the day is finding our what kind of pie is for desert, some folks need a change.

Halflings are enthusiastic in everything from stealing to eating to running away.

They speak fast, using lots of slang. They frequently slut words together, invent new terms and generally debase the Imperial tongue. Halfling have a habit of obsessively using catchphrases or new words they've discovered-at least, until the next one comes along. Halfling use hand gestures much as Elves do, but these are invariably too rude to discuss.
