The trapped mages are, each and everyone of them with the exception of Caledor, slain by Morathi. In her madness, she tries to summon Slaanesh into the world: She doesnґt care that sheґll lose as long as everyone else loses as well. Caledor has been a central player all along, convincing Imrik of the necessity of his betrayal and role to play as well as helping Teclis with the unmaking of the vortex. In the end he forces Morathi to face her madness: As the vortex is unmade and Teclisґ plan finished Slaanesh does not succeed in manifesting himself. In fury one of his talons start gripping frantically and Caledor pins Morathi down. Slaanesh grabs them both and thatґs the last we hear of them.

The Dragons. The stolen Dragons are all brought back to Caledor from Naggaroth. This brings a tear to Imrikґs eye and happens prior to his betrayal of the High Elves (which he was asked to do by Caledor + Teclis). It is noted that during the initial betrayal, Caledorґs Dragon Princes refuse to kill any Elves. They simply ride their dragons and let the beasts do the dirty work. When this is revealed, it is also said noted that the Dragons did not appear to be reluctant or anything like that, they slew the High Elves as they wouldґve any other enemy

In the last battle I believe there are Imrik/Minaithnir + 12 Dragons from Caledor. Not sure how many Black Dragons, nor how many survive. Minaithnir survives however, carrying Imrik away to Athel Loren. The Dragons find a new home in this wood, in a cave. Likewise, the other monsters all find "natural" homes in Athel Loren as well.

This is the main point of the book. Itґs not about Elves vs Elves but Elves vs Chaos. Luckily, no major spoilers (that Iґve read) reveal the truth about the matter, nor how it unfolds. This is the most interesting part of the story, in my opinion, and although the book doesnґt finish the subject (thereґs bound to be more here) it sets the stage for an epic end game.

Valkia was defeated in Naggaroth but somehow resurrected. Her hordes appear to be endless. Malekith deciding to fight for Ulthuan instead is typical of his character. The Elvesґ losses were truly great but we donґt know how many made it out. Athel Loren is not that crowdy because the Elves clear out a lot of the Beastmen occupying the forest when they arrive there, thus expanding the realm.

There are several takes on this. On the surface, I agree. However the Elves have made a number of successful things, including binding the winds to various mortal heroes. It appears that Nagash will also be a major player here.

I just want to add a small thing to what Curu said, and that is that Lileath talks to Araloth on the last page of the book. She mentions that she thinks the Chaos god will eventually win, but that Teclis still thinks they can be beaten. So Teclis is most certainly alive and still believes that his plan will work.

I also got the feeling that very many elves actually made it, and that Athel Loren is somewhat overpopulated now. The Beastmen actually got it bad and are pretty much eradicated from the forest

Про Бальтазара не нашел ничего в худ. книжке, как будет в бековой посмотрим.

Вообще:

Бретам бист логичен - животинку они любят (катаются на всяких разных тварях, охотятся на всяких оленей-вепрей-сабертусков), героев тоже много - есть кого бафать, хотя учитывая, что в ЕоТ нет логики от слова совсем - может и какой-нибудь Огонь перепадет (хотя Теклис хотел его в Малекита пихнуть), чтоб "глаголом жечь" :)))

А вообще тема такого массового переселения/заселения и соседские взаимодействия трех фракций, которые друг друга несколько тысяч лет активно хейтерли (ну или клали болт в случае с лесными), достойна отдельного раскрытия.

А Теклис молодец, вроде как другим помогал, но и сам с ветерком стал, пожалуй, крутейшим магом всея планеты. Теперь жабы будут ему экзамены сдавать В)

Похоже, что план глобального Пипеца EoT был задуман еще несколько лет назад. Вспомним романы про братьев Маджере (шуры-муры с Морати, мачо Тирион и Вечная королева), разделение Атель Лорена на регионы и т.д. - все готовилось к большому переселению.

Allarielle and Tyrion have very little interaction. Tyrion moves to Avelorn to claim her, but this is mostly because itґs the only way he can "officially confirm" himself as the Phoenix King because the Flames of Asuryan no longer exist. In truth, he is most likely to kill her after a marriage would have happened (as per Morathiґs manipulation). At this point in time Allarielle realizes he is beyond saving and gives up on him. There is no intimate moment between the two, nor do they have any conversations save for the one I described above (which is in front of 2 big armies). Tyrion does not tell Allarielle about Teclisґ betrayal. The book is unclear as to whether she knows this or not I believe.

Allarielle displays no affection whatsoever towards Malekith. It is a marriage by necessity, not by passion. When the book concludes the relationship between the two displays no signs of emotion, from either of them I might add. However, whatґs interesting is that they are both changed a lot by being imbued by their respective winds of magic and after this happens we get very little insight into just how they are changed (apart from seeing that the change is significant) so itґs hard to tell what they know and feel at this point in time.

The mastermind behind the alliance was always Teclis. Imrik and Allarielle followed along because they knew they had to. Imrik in particular struggled with both his own concience, guilt and Malekith in person on several occasions (probably because he had to a lot of slaying). Allarielle saw the necessity of the situation clearly when Tyrion attacked Avelorn (see above), after this she appears more determined yet without any displays of affection (or even positive attitude at all) towards Malekith.

First of all, Allarielle is not in Ulthuan when all this begins. Many months, if not years, pass before Tyrion finally moves to claim her in Avelorn. Tyrion indeed moves to Avelorn solely to be the Phoenix King, yes. At this point in time he is lost to the sword and additionally, Morathi has a strong hold over him. The book elaborates on what happens to Elves when they are influenced by Khaine for too long. TL;DR - it isnґt pretty. Tyrion is actually holding up remarkably well.

Allarielle doesnґt want to marry him because she sees how lost he is. There are multiple factors here: Not only the Sword of Khaine but also the Curse of Aenarion and Morathi. What the sword will do - I wonґt spoil this but itґs in the book.

As for marrying Malekith, itґs a necessity given the circumstances. Not something anybody wants, but something the Everqueen, luckily, realizes she has to do.

She seemingly no longer cares about Malekith. This is made explicitly clear very early on in the book. The way I understand DE fluff though she and Malekith have been at odds for a good while?

She conceals herself with magic to infiltrate Tyrion´s army, posing as a Sister of Avelorn if I remember correctly.
