I have some news to warhammer fantasy.

-Bretonnians next Armybook (after 40k Orks)

-9th Edition after the 2nd Codex of the 7th Edition 40k

-Undead will be merged later

-The same with the Chaos

-Sometime in the autumn Starter set Empire vs. Orks

GW will send in the next weeks emails to all retailers. In this mail they are asked to send the armybooks skaven, beastmen and bretons back to them. They will get their money back.

A rules change that will almost surely occur in warhammer 9th edition, is

that unit's will be allowed to fire when marching. Since in wood elves 8th

edition Special Character Orion has a magic weapon" the Spear of Kornus"

with which he is able make a shooting attack, BUT NOT IF HE MARCHED.

My lgs just confirmed his gw rep said Bret's are just around the corner. I didn't hear it myself so of course some salt but he seemed really sure (enough to not take my money for wood elves since he knows I'll buy the entire Bret stock)

I see on the british site the armybook is "no longer available", the american say "on stock". Could mean the storage in the usa are still filled, while they are no longer available in the UK, means they are no longer produced.

About the first release: it will be a combi knights box set. Otherwise the Bretons will probably only get 2 weeks of releases. Pre-orders are most likely June 28th

There is a rumour I've been hearing that all bretonnian knights except for knights errant will all be champions, like how grail knights are currently which will all have 2 attacks and accept challenges.

Knights with lances will also get some kind of jousting focus rule where they can lose one attack and gain one extra strength on the charge.

I have got the following bits from a birdy that has yet to let me down even once (and has tweeted to me for over a year):

a "big thing" for WHF at the end of August - sadly no details, but the notion of "the shape of things to come!"

Nurgle gets some love in October: a book, 3 plastic kits and a clampack - again, sadly no details about this

Endtimes will have 4 Books;

Book 1 will release Late August

Book 2 with Chaos releases in October.

Book 3 with Skaven releases in January.

Book 4 with other Forces releases in March.

Shortly after this WFB 9th Edition arrives. The Rulebook releases at the same time of year as 40k 7th did in 2014.

Вкратце:

1) Coming tomorrow to a GW near you will be a series of new posters for in store advertisement for something BIG as the corporate email stated.

2) Some GW stores are finding Island of Blood sets are being zeroed out of their system for restock. Similar when Dark Vengeance happened to Assault on Black Reach.

3) This part is speculation: Bretonnians are going to be playing a big part in the Nagash saga in the beginning, it is believed the following is going to happen:

a) Pre-Order for 9th Edition will be Sept 13th (with special editions - standard new edition merchandising)

b) October will receive the new box edition (if standard releases from past is an indicator) which may contain Bretonnians and Undead.

c) Bretonnians will have a new Army book, model release following that, possibly into November before the Christmas packs roll in.

d) intermingled among these releases will be probably some filler models (repackaged Crom/Valten/etc.), army bundles, etc.

4) Not of speculation, though it must be considered rumor, I (and a few chosen) have personally seen new artwork by John Blanche for Bretonnians. Does this mean it will be in the new book? No idea, but sometimes his stuff is used for the sculptors to pull concept to model.

Or we could be really blindsided by everything and it be 25 new paints (not very likely), Dark Eldar (possible) or something ridiculous like a mass Hobbit release. GW likes to have a strong second quarter launch that will help carry through 3rd quarter (end of February).

Следующая редакция летом 2015-го года, до этого еще 3 книги Конца Времен и много новых наборов. След. книга - Малекит.

Игра потерпит значительные изменения, среди них предположительно: уничтожение/ассимиляция ряда армий, отказ от коробок в пользу скирмиша, большая гримдарковость.

9-я редакция станет 0-м годом новой вахи, после Конца Времен.

Естественно запаситесь солью.
