Hello friends!

I have some information that I have gathered from a source that is yet to be proven reliable but I thought I would share with the community.

As a dedicated Tau player I was disappointed to find my blue men will not release this year, nor will BT or DA. Evidently there will only be two armies released this year.

From what I "overheard" the summer release is supposed to be Chaos/CSM and Eldar. I know sounds nuts. But the spring is going to be one of those two with the other followed in the winter/fall. Again I do not know how this makes since but it is GW so all is fair.

The reasoning I picked up was that GW wanted two big releases this year to coincide with anniversary. I found it strange though that it wouldnt be marines or orks but heh!

Besides that though the releases are supposed to be the largest to date with something like 80% of the new models released upon arrival.

I also got that 2013 will see Tau and orks, with a huge space marine book. All three of those armies (huge grain of salt) will also be getting a large holiday battalion box.

Also DA will get summer White Dwarfed in 2013 and BT will be in marine book.

Besides that I dont know how much stock I put in these rumors but I thought it was worth bringing up. Also I purposely created this logon just so I wouldnt be harrassed by an angry mob of gamers (we all do it)

- Q1-2 Necron and Tyranid 2nd waves

- Q2-3 6th edition with Dark Angels vs Chaos in the boxed set.

- Chaos Legions codex ~via multiple sources - said to be the first 6th Edition codex.

- Dark Angels codex ~contradictory, with other codices as a possibility in its place (Space Marines or Tau commonly named)

- No Eldar in 2012, still much to be done.

- Tau are still strong contenders for a full codex release, with many models finished and on ice for months now - but most probably 2013.

- Q4 this year will be dominated by the Hobbit so expect Q2 and Q3 to be 40K centric, but don't expect too much.

- Then Q1 2013 will be more Hobbit, Q2 2013 may see a new Codex but it's more likely to be wave releases, so if Eldar or Tau were coming I would say Q3.

Ну во-первых. Орков перевыпускали относительно недавно.

Во-вторых. Космодесант хаоса всасывает как только может сейчас, выиграть им у кого-то это надо сильно напрячься и пропилить кубы

В-третьих. Эльдар обещают уже на протяжении 5 лет(если не больше).

Next incarnation will see expanded use of chaplains. Rumor is they may be able to be taken in groups and assigned to lead troops, like wolf guard. If solo they stay elite slot, if Interrogator they are hq.

Heard this stuff elsewhere before, however coming thru a more trusted source now...

Rumor of plasma cannon sponsons on DA tanks. And a special Plasma main gun predator or vindicator...

Никто не в курсе, где то читал, что ГВ планируют выпустить пару новых коробок для ИГ, в частности стормтруперов? Или вообще, что у них следующее по плану?

Мелькали фото коробок транспорт + трупса. У ИГ химера, у маров дроппод, у хаоса ринка. Вообще ходят упорные слухи, что едва ли не каждый месяц будут "вкусняшки" для 40к в честь 25-летия, будут заполнять все "дыры" в кодексах.

Rumours about the Timescale:

There are rumours of Empire in 2012 (I had them in June but also in Mar/April with a BIG "?")

The next most complete project was empire. The book was done, all of the box art for new minis was done so it's imminent.(Darnock via birdy)

There are rumours that some bits will arrive before the army book (as with VC) (Harry, Mirabeau, malladin.ben)

The rumour is the War altar kit arrives with a couple of characters before the rest. (Harry. malladin.ben)

Rumours about the Games developers:

There is a rumour that Jervis and Jeremy Vetock are up to their bushy eyebrows and wire rimmed spectacles in this one. (Harry)

Rumours about the army:

Ulric is back on the menu.

Teutogen Guard are in. (ghost21)

Religion / the gods are more prominent. (Harry, ghost21, Mirbeau)

Theres also a sphere of influence so Sigmarites will not be affected by Priests of Ulric and Ulricans wont be affected by sigmaric priests...etc. Different gods priests have different abilities. Ulric are ‘frothing loonies’ and Morr focus on undead. Priests can impact on a units abilities when they join them. (ghost21).

There is a new focus on Morr. Priests of Morr, Knights of Morr, Garden of Morr, etc.

Rumours about models:

Empire will get 4 plastic kits (Darnock via birdy) 5 plastic kits (Harry) and some plastic one piece characters as well as some old models being redone in finecast.

Rumours of Characters/Lords/Heroes

There are rumours that more named Elector counts will be availaible.

Marius Leitdorf will be re-released in Finecast.

Boris Todbringer has been 'hinted' (Mirbeau)

Female sorceress/battle Wizard has been done. (Eldargal) (I assume a one piece plastic)

There is also a rumour about a priestess of Myrmidia (ghost21)

I heard something about a mounted Wizard.

I heard something about an engineer (possibly also mounted?)

Rumours of Karl Franz OR Lord/Hero on Griffon.

There are rumours of a plastic Lord/Hero on a Griffon that could 'pass' as Karl Franz. (Harry)

There is a rumour that it IS Karl Franz. (which is an interesting development as this is the first time we have seen a special, named character as a plastic kit).

“The new plastic Empire hero on griffon is also supposed to be very nice” (hastings)

Griffin, which to be honest is a bit of a let down. It's big, Manticore sized, and looks almost like an update of the Deathclaw mini only a bit more static, oddly it was painted a deep ruddy brown. (Darnock via birdy)

Rumours of a plastic War Altar (and something new?)

There are rumours of a dual plastic kit which makes a War Altar and something else. (Harry, hastings, ghost21, malladin.ben)

It is rumoured that the War Altar can be customised to make Sigmar, Ulric or Morr. (ghost21)

There is a rumour that it makes a War Altar and a “College of Magic wizardlordmobile”. (NatTreehouse, Harry)

A war altar combo kit with a wizardy casting platform thing which had lots of globes almost like a celestial model. (Darnock via birdy)

Rumours of new Warrior priests:

There are rumors of new warrior priests for Sigmar, Ulric, and Morr. (ghost21, malladin.ben)

There is a rumours of Warrior priest kit like the wizards kit.

These may be sculpts done for the plastic War Altar. (Rather than an additional kit or individual sculpts)

The Ulricians may just be finecast versions of the excellent ones from the storm of Chaos. (ghost21)

Rumours of Demi-Griffon knights.

- First up, there is the implication of the new aesthetic design of the dead Thousand Son torso on the ThunderWolves kit. Have fun with that one. Plastic cult troops are said to be on the way.

- Talk of new Chaos Predator weapon options including a TL Plasmagun turret with single Plasmagun sponsons.

- Hints of Obliterator weapon morphs expanding beyond just energy weapons (as has been mentioned in some recent Black Library novels)

- Talk of several special characters look to be getting varying levels of Eternal Warrior (1-3), including Abaddon, Kharn, Typhus and two more. Hmm, multiple versions of Eternal Warrior was including in the "Mystery/Hoax ruleset.

- Options for "mid-level" characters possibly able to be taken taken as 2-for-1 HQ choices, or possibly as "as a separate Elite or Fast or Troop choice that can be split off" Example given was a possible unit of Dark Apostles that can then split off as squad leaders. (like Wolfguard)

- Chaos will struggle to combat psykers, but Khornate characters have ways of nullifying psychic abilities aimed at them. (probably Collars of Khorne)

- More options for Thousand Sons and a Tzeentch Daemon Engine.

- And finally, talk of Alpha Legion forcing enemies to take Ld tests before they move or shoot in some manner. ~ I am Alpharius!

Слухи о Chaos Legions.

- Codex is finished and should be leaving the printers shortly for warehousing ahead of distribution in the next couple of months.

- Four waves of miniature releases planned.

- Mark-specific vehicle upgrades reminiscent of the 3.5 Chaos Marines Codex may appear, such as Poisoned flamers for Nurgle, higher strength/lower AP weapons for Tzeentch, Sonic weaponry for Slaanesh and "brutal blades" for Khorne.

- New specific differences between Raptors and "Chaos Assault Marines". Raptors now a new cult for Night Lords Legion and "Chaos Assault Marines" being available to all Legions and markable.

- HQ choicess will effect the types of units and marks available to your Army. Also noted that "IF 6th Edition returns to Percentages, the Codex will make more sense"

- Finally, word of Daemons being redone for 40K and Fantasy in 2013, with new Greater Daemon models.

Новый повод для отвращения, мне уже нравится :D Если серьезно, то ДА вряд ли станет символом ванили. Если они сделали пейнт сет с ними, то это ещё ничего не значит.

Кстати, про Хаос, говорят, что in near future :D:

The book should allow players to field Legion-specific armies that have a uniqueness similar to older Dex's whilst simultaneously allowing flexible mixed force builds.

HQ selections may change:

- what units "count as" (possibly FOC slots, or scoring status)

- wargear upgrades for squads and vehicles

- access to Daemons

- unit sizes (maybe)

Many more flying options in this book such as:

- Chosen with Jump Packs (expensive)

- Possessed with Wings (kinda expensive)

- Chaos Assault Marines (average)

- Raptors

Cult troops could possibly get access to Jump Packs changing their FOC slot (maybe) but most most units are unable to move FOC slots.

Chosen and Possessed could get the most significant overhaul in the codex. HQ characters may be able to take a unit of Chosen as a squad upgrade, thereby not taking up an Elites slot.

Possessed will lose their current "game costing randomness". Example given was Ogre Kingdoms Maneaters, who pick abilities from a list before the game. A particular character may allow one or more units of Possessed to be taken as Troops.

Berserkers Rage rule to return to a Ld test, suffering the Rage USR on a failure. He also said that 2 ideas for Chain Axes have been suggested: Rending, or +1S.

Alpha Legion may be able to grant Infiltration to their transports.

Lash of Submission nerfed to be inline with the version in Codex Chaos Daemons.

Sonic weapon options were tested for Dreadnoughts and Predators - including some heavier new sonic tankbusters.

Apocalypse sized releases for Chaos in the near future , an Autocannon-toting flyer was mentioned.

Finally word of the Havoc Launcher upgraded to two shots.
