UNIQUE ARMY RULES
We'll Be Back: Every time a Necron dies, there is a chance it will regenerate there and then. With the lack of Phase Out however, it will not be a 50% chance.
Gauss weaponry: Gauss weapons, though primarily designed to target specific types of armour (like most weapons), are better against most armour types than their equivalents in other armies.
Phase Out: Does not exist - it's too complicated to work.
UNITS
Necron Warrior Squad: Infantry Cap: 2; Squad Size: 4-9; basic Necron soldiers, poor melee but decent at range.
Scarab Swarm: Infantry Cap: 1, Vehicle Cap: 1; Squad Size 3-9; melee only; immune to morale damage.
Tomb Spyder: Build Limit: 3; Vehicle Cap: 2, melee only, can be upgraded with a ranged gauss weapon; can transport and share 5 Scarab swarms; slow moving; can repair structures; immune to morale damage.
Destroyer Squadron: Vehicle Cap: 2; Squad Size: 1; can jump
Heavy Destroyer Squadron: Vehicle Cap: 2; Squad Size: 1; setup time for anti-tank/structure gauss weapon.
Necron Lord: Build Limit: 1; Mainly melee but with a ranged attack. Upgrades include Warscythe (no ranged attack but better melee), Resurrection Orb (improves We'll Be Back chance of successful regeneration), Gaze of Death (immobilise target squad).
Pariah Squad: Infantry Cap: 2; Build Limit: 1; Squad Size: 2-8; each Pariah emits an aura that weakens enemy morale and stacks. Some ranged firepower but really intended for melee combat.
Flayed Ones Squad: Infantry Cap: 1; Squad Size: 2-4, +2 with research; early game scouts; melee only; when upgraded can infiltrate; when upgraded with Terrifying Visage (attacks do greater morale damage)become more useful later in the game
Wraith Squad: Infantry Cap: 2; Squad Size: 1-3; can travel through terrain (jump), melee only, resistant to ranged damage when moving.
Immortals Squad: Infantry Cap: 3; Squad Size: 3-6; very heavily armoured versions of Necron warriors, more than twice the normal firepower. Stationary while firing. Little stronger than warriors in melee.
Monolith: Vehicle Cap: 5; Build Limit: 1; can transport up to 3 infantry squads & deep strike from the Altar of Ruin. Armed with rapid fire omni-directional anti-personnel flux arcs and an omni-directional anti-tank ordnance particle whip; immune to morale damage.
Nightbringer: undetermined.

Cenotaph (HQ) Level 0: Constructs builders & Flayed Ones; can be upgraded to Level 1.
Cenotaph (HQ) Level 1: Constructs builders & Flayed Ones; can be upgraded to Level 2.
Cenotaph (HQ) Level 2: Constructs builders & Flayed Ones.
Stasis Tomb (Barracks): Constructs infantry.
Altar of Ruin (Machine Cult): Constructs vehicles; acts as Orbital Relay for the Monolith.

Big Gauss Core (Thermal Generator): Provides more power than the Gauss Core; built on Slag Deposits only.

Obelisk (Listening Post) Level 1: Armed with a Gauss Blaster, provides requisition & requisition upgrades; can be upgraded to Level 2.
Obelisk (Listening Post) Level 2: Armed with a Lesser Particle Whip, provides requisition & requisition upgrades.
Sepulchre (Armoury): Provides research upgrades.
Ziggurat (Ancient Relic): Provides hero research upgrades / advanced research upgrades.
