  1. As the tournament takes place in a student’s club with a nice name which could be translated as „Straight from the bottle” we have prepared a scenario that goes with it :) Scenario: From the Bottle Your troops think that in Bialystok you need to drink straight from the bottle and it’s inappropriate to think otherwise! But will you take up the risk and do the challenge? If you do, then before you start deployment you can nominate a single character who is the tough guy who drinks straight from the bottle and see what happens: 1 – “You drank straight from the bottle and... vomited in the taxi” – after the battle your opponent receives 100 points. 2- “You drank straight from the bottle and...got lost in Bialystok” – character cannot march in 1st turn. 3- “You drank straight from the bottle and... Akadera gave you a kiss” uuuck! Character receives extra vomit attack, S3 autohit in hth, no armour save. No magic and mundane items affect this, special rules, skills etc. 4- “Hooch from Bialystok” Character gains poison attacks in hth and shooting. If he already have poison then it improves those to 5+. It also works with magical weapons. 5- “You drank straight from the bottle and.. start to snore like Dymitr” Character receives banshee howl, but without +2 bonus. If character already have banshee howl then reroll this. 6-“You drank straight from the bottle and... got tough!” Character gains +1S. If you are a wimp then you can choose not to take part in drinking challenge and pass that scenario :) Also, second important notice: after tournement please stay at the spot. There will be some fun competitions with prices (homemade beer) of which I will tell you more when we meet :)
  2. Serg: sure thing, if you would like to stay a little longer then I will take paid leave at work and spend some time with you guys :) Good news everyone. We managed to change tournament location from school to large student pub/disco. Henceforth during the tournament there will be fully operational bar with vodkas, beer, pizza and various other hot meals with cheap prices and good quality :) New location is: Klub Gwint, Bialystok, ul. Zwierzyniecka 10. It is the same spot as in 2011, but modernized :)
  3. I'm glad that Kolya is rallying the troops. Hope to see more russians this year :) It would be great if you could stay at least one day more :) Sadly (for you my friends), this year famous polish actor agreed to take part in our movie, but it is only in polish, so I guess there's no point in putting it here :( Btw. here is the link to polish forum with info about tournament: http://forum.wfb-pol.org/viewtopic.php?f=2...209746#p1209746 At the bottom of first post there will be a list of participants.
  4. Hello my dear friends In the name of my club I’d like to invite you all for a Warhammer Tournament called ”Battle for Bialystok” which will be held on 12 - 13 of April in our home city: Bialystok, Poland! We’d like you to come and visit us for a great weekend. If you are interested in participating in the tournament I think the best way would be for you to get visas as last year Kolya did, and (if you'd like) to avoid unnecessary costs we could host you at our flats (but certainly not with such standards as you did), show you around our beautiful city, party a lot, try and beat you in vodka challange and generally take good care of you all. So, how about it? Here is a quick draft of the tournament rules: this is a single player tourney, the most important part is that we play using most recent ETC rules and ETC2013 serbian maps. Also this is a master class tournament in polish league, so every army needs to be painted with at least 3 colours and you can expect 80+ players. There will be some bonus points for good quality painting, but not too much, about 5-10 points in total. This tournament will be the last tournament from which our ETC team will emerge, so you will have a chance to meet and play against our best ETC players, exchange opinions, tactics and show them how people from The Generals and Eastern Front can drink B) Entry Fee: 50pln (or 13EUR). Place: Klub Gwint, Bialystok, ul. Zwierzyniecka 10 Start: 12th of April, 9am In order to register yourself for the tournament, please send an application e-mail with: name, surname, nickname, rooster made using newest ETC draft (in html) at least a week before the tournament to front-wschodni@o2.pl . As usual there will be worthy prizes (to be announced), cups, diplomas and so on… During night time we will do our best to keep you entertained, so don’t worry about sleeping too much ;-) Here is a short list of some of our hotels: www.hostelpodlasie.pl – cheapest hostel in town. Not that bad actually. http://www.hotelbranicki.com/ru/core/home.php?_PageID=45828 – in the city centre, Kolya stayed there last year http://hotelcristal.com.pl/ru/core/home.php?_PageID=42881 – also in the city centre http://www.goscinnakamienica.pl/index.php?language=4 – also in the city centre – Evgen stayed there last time. Rest of the hotels you can easliy find on booking.com so there’s really no point in listing them all. If you have any further questions please ask them to me directly to karol.wyszkowski@gmail.com and I shall answer any questions asap. Hope to see a representation of FB players soon!
  5. Yes, you can find all the information here: http://forum.wfb-pol.org/viewtopic.php?f=2...054158#p1054158 - it's in polish but feel free to write there in english :) We won't require prepayments from foreigners - you can pay at the tournament :)
  6. I like it! PS. maybe you wish to stay few days more with us? On monday after the tournament some warhammer players with girlfriends/wifes plan to get in our cars, book few bungalows and go for few days to relax by the lake, grill some sausages, drink some more beer etc. Interested?

  15. I'll check what info we need and let you know soon (propably it is the stuff which you can find in your passport). There are few ways to get here: - by car - by train - by bus - by plane and then train - by car it should take you about 18h drive - by bus it should take you about 24h and it costs about 120 euro for trip back and forth - by train (through belaruss) it takes about 18h and costs (by polish PKP lines) about 170 euro back and forth with a place with a bed - by plane it cost about 250-300 euros back and forth, the nearest airport is in Warsaw which is about 2.30h by train from Bialystok (one way train ticket costs about 10euro) We choose to get to Moscow by bus because not counting the car (by that time I was the only one with a driver licence, and I didn't want to drive all the way alone with 3 drunks in the car) it was the cheapest choice :)
  16. The date is set, and the tournament will be on 2-3rd of April. I suggest that people that are interested in visiting Poland should let me know withing a month because we have to register you in our home office and send you the invitations through DHL I suppose;p in order for you to get Schoengen visa. Unless some of you alreade have it, then it shouldn't be a problem :)
  17. If you have any questions or would like to contact me faster please write to my e-mail adress karlee (at) o2.pl .
  18. Unfortunately no w40k this time. Unlike rest of the world W40k is less popular here ;p
  19. Hello my dear friends :) In the name of my club I’d like to invite you all for a Warhammer Tournament called “Battle for Bialystok” which will be held on 26-27 of March or 2-3 of April (date will be known within next 2-3 weeks) in our home city: Bialystok, Poland! We had a really great time during our stay in Moscow last year and thus we’d like you to come and visit us for a great weekend (or for as long as you like ;p). If you are interested in participating in the tournament we can send you necessary invitations for your visas, host you at out homes during your stay, show you around our beautiful city, party a lot and generally take good care of you all :) So, how about it? Here is a quick draft of the tournament rules, which may change a little bit, but the most important part is that we play using most recent ETC rules, so 2400 point armies with ETC restrictions and rules. Also this is a master class tournament in polish league, so every army needs to be painted with at least 3 colours and you can expect 60+ players. No bonus points for good quality painting, but we will reward owners of three best painted armies with good prizes – so bring your best painted miniatures! 20. Sure thing, we'll be in touch and try not to make it in the same weekend. The most probable date is currently 26-27th march. How about your tournaments ?
  21. Hi there! The voting for master class tournaments in Poland for the next season is over. As we supposed our city got a lot of good notes and votes, so we get to organize a master class tournament next year, hurray :) So, as I have promised: we invite everyone who is willing to participate. You can of course count on free accomodation, cultural guides around our city and hell of a good parties with us (Bedner, remember about Polish-Russian connection we still have to do ;-) :D However the tournament will be held in march or april 2011, but I wanted to write this now, so you can prepare yourselves (prepare money, visas, painted miniatures and so on...). In any case, it is almost a year, so just remember about it, and around christmas eve I will recall you about it (you cannot apply for a vista earlier than 3 month prior to your visit). Keep in touch, CYA!
