Сей необычный зверь попался мне в описании первого Приватерского CGI проекта. Изображения, правда. не нашел. Не знаю, что это была за идея, но явно не то, что показывали на GDCon-е в этом марте. Подозреваю, что именно он будет вместе с Джагой в Гринде.



Интересно, в игру то его выпустят?

Corruptor
The fiendish inventiveness of Cryxian necrotechs has resulted in many machines perfected to employ the killing arts. The Slayer is a swift, hulking beast of bone and black iron that relishes murdering anything in its path. The Reaper can fire its harpoon to sink deep into flesh or steel before reeling in its victim with frightening speed to within range of its vicious helldriver spike. The Corruptor is the culmination of Cryx’s pioneering work in caustic compounds and necrotic poisons, a helljack armed with venomous weapons designed to consume both body and soul.


Decimator
Khador’s mechaniks build their warjacks to last. The Juggernaut is a hulking mass of plated armor wielding an ice axe that can encase its target in a layer of crippling ice. This sturdy chassis has given rise to other staples like the Destroyer, whose whistling shells arcing overhead portend explosive obliteration. Another is the Decimator, engineered to annihilate well-armored targets with powerful direct fire. This ’jack’s wide-bored cannon smashes its victims to the ground before it closes to tear them apart with its whirling rip saw.


Templar
One of the first warjacks developed by the Protectorate after the Cygnaran Civil War was the Crusader, a massive warjack boasting heavy armor and capable of crushing attacks. It has served as the foundation for several masterpieces of war. The Templar, for one, smashes enemies with overwhelming force from an unassailable position behind its thick shield. Of more recent production, the Vanquisher wields a great “blazing star” spiked ball in one hand and a flame belcher in the other. This weapon sends an oil-filled cannonball that bursts and ignites on impact.

Антипехотный тяжелый джек это интересно ... жаль по МК2 пехоту будут брать очень редко. Сама моделька ниче так, единственное что непонятно где у него голова или хотя бы глаза ...

Риклеймер - Модель получше старой, смотрится лучше скорее за счет хорошей покраски.

В качестве новых юнитов сигнар увидит Stormsmith storm tower - лайт артиллерия, которая при хите бьет по соседним моделям по цепочке (расстояния между двумя соседними моделями в цепи не более 4 дюймов) и командос (ребята со стелсом, анатомик пресиженом, карабином и гранатой (р6 аое3 с12)).
А Кадору перепали мечты человека который похоже очень много пил и курил - мановоры, у которых в руках бензопила со встроенным гранатометом (man-o-war bombardier), и огнеметчик для командосов (спрей 12 силы, когда его убивают поджигает всех вокруг).

А еще они выпустили апгрейд киты для пластиковых джеков. У Сиджа будет именной Дефендер со щитом, а у Резника - Ванквишер с мечом вместо пушки. Единственный вопрос для меня - где они берут такую шмаль, которая помогает им все это придумывать

Апгрейд кит думаю использовать так - долепить факелы на Крусейдера и получить Фаер оф Салвейшн, а гардиану дать меч вместо копья и получить Аватар. Меч кстати весь неплох.

В этом году на Генконе предсавлены следующие ивэнты по Вармашине/Ордам :

-Triple Threat (Steamroller with three 35 point lists)

-Hardcore! (single 50 point list, Killbox scenario)

Результаты двух из четырех чемпионатов :

По словам компании WhiteMoon Dreams презентация создаваемой ими игры по миру Warmachine имела невероятный успех на текущем GenCon 2010. Как оказалось это будет не стратегия, а squad-based tactical action game. По первым скриншота понятно, что варкастер будет таскать за собой баттлгруппу и уничтожать всё вокруг.

В начале, посмотрите видео демо-версии игры Warmachine! Качество видео ужасное, но смысл можно уловить: варкастеры будут изничтожать врагов магией и комбо ударами, не хуже нежели Данте из "Devil May Cry", непосредственно управлять варджеками и вообще творить безумие на экране.
